Popular Post Diffco Posted 3 July 2023 Popular Post Posted 3 July 2023 Leicester City are exploring a move for Manchester City defender Callum Doyle. The 19-year-old is valued at between £7million-£10million and Leicester are interested in bringing him to the club on a permanent basis. Doyle is a product of the Manchester City academy and has spent the last two seasons on loan in the English Football League (EFL). He won promotion to the Championship via the League One play-offs with Sunderland during the 2021-22 campaign and was part of the Coventry City side who reached the Championship play-off final in 2022-23. Doyle made 46 appearances in all competitions for Coventry last season. He has represented England at youth level but is yet to make a senior appearance for Manchester City. Leicester are preparing for their first season back in the Championship since the 2013-14 campaign following last season’s relegation from the Premier League. The club have already completed the signings of Conor Coady and Harry Winks ahead of the new campaign. Enzo Maresca was appointed as the club’s new manager, succeeding interim boss Dean Smith, in June. 5 4

TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 He's a future left footed John Stones. Would be a good signing if true.
UniFox21 Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 (edited) Very good signing if true. £7m would be a bargain and exactly what we should be going for. Edited 3 July 2023 by UniFox21 1
Ginger_Filbert Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 Tanner gets some grief but if this comes off that’ll be twice he’s been first to report a signing this summer I believe. 1
Muzzy_Izzn’t Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 Cov played with a back three all season as well, so if true then big indication (alongside Coady signing) that we’ll be utilising three at the back under Maresca 1

Gerard Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 Only 19 but 77 apps at L1 and Championship level. You'd like to think Marescu would know a lot about him but he's been on loan for two years so it wouldn't be that much. 1

dbtcity Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 Makes sense with how bad we are at getting wingers in recently to just go for a set up that doesn’t use them….. Lad looks a real talent… hopefully he won’t be the last Man City youth player we bring in
moore_94 Posted 3 July 2023 Posted 3 July 2023 (edited) Made 14 appearances for Maresca when he was Man City Under 21 Manager Edited 3 July 2023 by moore_94 2 1
