Winks and Coady both look absolute quality additions, KDH will flourish in this set up, Doyle will be another very good acquisition. 
 

I think the Belgian 3 need to be moved on to make room in squad for players who want to be here. 
 

Riccy P if we can keep him fit will be unreal. We now need to add some quality up top, Piroe in this system would be such a threat.

Same, keeps the ball moving and appears proactive already knowing what to do on the ball.

 

Compare that to Ndidi or Soumare throughout last year and the faith/trust just wasn't there for them to do anything productive. Winks gives us that.

Reminds me of playing power league. Used to always leave something on their best attacker early doors and some sides would proceed to kick the shit out of me for the rest of the game.

Agreed! But I think it will come. I don't think we will start the season with a front 3 of Vardy, Wanya and Castagne, and yet that's how we started today.

If we want the keeper to be the extra outfield player, you can see why we are after Mads. Jakob is still young but is a scary boy with his feet.

One of my main concerns is who depth for Ricardo’s position is with his injury history. Nobody else has the same sort of profile. Need to be defensively decent, bit of pace, and tidy on the ball. Maybe JJ? But see above concern re-injuries.

It’s very De Zerbi style as well. A combo of those two styles of football would be really exciting.

Ndidi/Soumare receive ball, it went straight back first time where it came from, everytime

 

Winks receives, there’s actually a plan, other options around him, and executed well, plus a second movement. Actually seeking the ball.

To be fair, I think we will concede at least 5 goals this season from cock-ups due to passing it out, or the keeper not claiming it properly on a cross. But the point is that if you score 10-15 because you play this way then the net result is worth it.
