Everyone said this was daft when the fixtures were first released, it’s now proving to be even worse than expected if this doesn’t go ahead or if it does and we come out with more injuries. Jesus

A championship club has absolutely zero business having friendlies in Thailand for pre season. Complete and utter joke

Not even sure it makes much sense for Spurs. The vast majority of far-East fans only care about Man Utd and Liverpool.

I mean, I'm not a fan of this tour, but we can't really blame the PR team for the weather

No, but we should not be there in the first place.

We all knew this tour was daft and reeked of a club in denial about potentially not being a Premier League club any longer.

But literally nobody mentioned that it was daft because it was monsoon season. And yet it was apparently so obvious as another reason not to do the tour. Sure lads, sure.

Ain't hindsight marvellous.

Hahahahaaa I can't stop giggling at this. It's like me coming to Dolgellau in the caravan for a week (I'm here now) and expecting it to be decent weather.

If we aren't in good shape for the start of this season then it's unforgivable.

Now the commentator and Fryatt are talking about Spurs' hopes for next season ffs lollollol

Call it off lads. Shut down the stream.

My favourite bit was Fryatt saying he was supposed to play in Thailand but was banned for violent conduct and just went and got pissed, had a lovely time

To be fair half the people watching are probably Spurs fans who made the wise choice not to pay £10 for their club's stream.

If they delay and delay until the pitch is ‘playable’ then it will effectively be an exhibition match with neither side putting much effort in re injury risk

the ball won’t run true

it will become an exercise in finishing

triffic!

There is absolutely no obligation for an English football club to do anything other than play half of their league games each year in their own city.

I'm not talking about formal FA rules here, it's not 1979 anymore - this is business, all business - why else do you think we're playing in such an inappropriate (football-wise) tournament.  KP don't run our club just to put on football games for a few people from aylestone, it's a global business - marketing, advertising, profits.

Forget penalty boxes just use discretion , put tracksuits down for the touchlines, kick off from anywhere vaguely close to half way, it’s Sunday morning after all, gerronwirrett!

Brings back memories of Steve Lynex vs Southampton.

Are they doing "Fan Cam" over there?

I love Fan Cam....

No, the locals don’t like it, apparently they don’t like goal music too so they’ve listened and not having that in these friendlies too.

Still re-painting the 18-yard box lol

Centre-circle and spot is invisible.

The other penalty area they did paint has washed off already lol
