Understand the clamour for Ward but probably hard to shift and is reasonable as a number 2 in all honesty.

 

Surely makes sense to cash in on Iversen who I imagine will want/is good enough to play regularly somewhere

How did I let myself get lured into this thread thinking someone might potentially even have an ounce of interest in Danny Ward?

I can see them both going.

 

Smithies very happy to be back-up and Stolarczyk to develop/loan out. 
 

A loan move to other championship clubs might work for the pair of them and indeed for us unless someone such as Luton fancies paying 6-8m for Iverson.

Suspect Stoke couldn’t afford to buy Iverson unless they chucked us a 40-50% sell on clause. Loan would be good.

I was about to post this… but my take was that perhaps it shows that iversen isn’t available. 

 

If we were touting him about i have no doubt stoke would be in for him. 
 

Either they don’t have the bunce we are asking for or we want him as number 2

I can see Iversen and Ward ending up at Luton and Bournemouth. 
 

Iversen would be a good option as a starter for Luton and would probably be reasonably priced and I can see Ward replacing Travers as back up at Bournemouth again as a low fee option.

Both need moving on now, Smithies is an adequate backup option.

How can he be a 'reasonable' number 2? His xG is amongst the worst in the world. Basically if it's on target, it's in. We may as well play an outfielder player as backup

In fairness to @HybridFox I think what he means is that it's pretty evident that Ward is a number 2.  A huge, steamy pile of number 2. And I think he's right on that.

What do you think? Recent history does not look good for them both. You would think Badgers may offer them a role at Celtic.

I'd be very surprised if Iversen didn't leave. The club should actively try and get rid of Ward if they aren't already. Would Wrexham not be interested? Ward is from Wrexham and played for them in his youth.
