Hopefully he’s available soon.

Vardy cant play every week and Kel has been terrible overall.

Hopefully not jinxing it, but I continue to be amazed that we’ve seen Justin and Ricardo play such a prolonged run of fixtures. I thought those days were behind us - what has changed?

Could just have different training regimes and not being run into the ground like Rodgers did.

Remember how much it was reported Rodgers used running on sand in training; wonder if we've removed or reduced using that.

4-6 weeks for mcateer could of been a lot worse. Remember how long Praet was out with hamstring when he did his was about 3 month wasn’t it?

With a 2 week international break reducing the amount or games his is going to miss as well.

Agree but they could hardly string a run of 4 appearances together previously. Maybe the intensity of training is different, maybe the fact that we’re generally on top and dominating the ball is also a factor.

Either way, long may it last!

I like that Maresca uses all his substitutions and I really think that helps to reduce injuries.

They want to play for the fella in charge and aren't pulling sickies to avoid working with David Brent.

What was the point in signing Cannon before January?

Gives him plenty of time to gel with the rest of the lads and whilst not being able to do it himself he will be able to spend a lot of time watching and learning how to play our system

He will be a lot better placed to come in and make a difference when he is fit especially when we are down to just him and Vardy in January and February having already been here for 4 months compared to someone if they joined in January

It meant nobody else could get him. If we see him as a long-term prospect with serious potential, snapping him while he was available on the cheap made complete sense.

Fair, but it's a big if on his fitness being good enough to immediately make an impact during afcon.

There would have been no guarantee that we could have got him January. Better to get him when we could and let him get used to the club.

I thought it was a positive move for the club.
