Ndidi in the studio just said he’s a couple weeks from playing.

So not as bad as first thought.

Depends how he phrased it. He's quite a laid back sort so might've been casually playing it down.

He was asked how long until he is back and Wilf said a “couple of weeks”

The presenter said “couple of weeks until training or playing?”

Ndidi replied with “playing”

Just been watching some clips back from last night. Wilf said he’s going to be ready to play in “a couple of weeks”

On the point of we'll be fine when we've got everyone fit is not something we should take for granted. Our injury record is abysmal and I wouldn't be surprised to see another one out soon

Given his form before he went away and the current form of....every. other. striker. right now - i can't see nacho getting much time.

That said he was still getting picked when he was playing crap before so....

Any news on why McAteer is out?

To be honest, I think it's beneficial.  Just don't get what he brings to the team.  Yunus over him anyday of the week!!

Wonder if it's an "injury" where he's working on stuff as he's just not been good enough

Why would they need to cover that with a lie?

I think he has his good days, but we need the consistency in the team and can't have passengers. He does well as a number 8. Yunus deserves a bit of a run in the team but that might be tricky with Ndidi returning...

Amazes me that posters are digging too deep on the Mcateer case.

Young lad in his first season & turned into a Utility player under Enzo.

love to see him in centre. He’s done well from there.

But without any cynical or discreditting thought on Mcateer,.

I would prefer at this moment to test longer Akgun.

Ndidi might not return to that form needed immediately.

Time is short..Ndidi is not that automatic saviour,

other lines will have to be tried & trusted.

Another thought would be Nacho also to slot in no8/10

he is more than capable..He’s played it has sub,and not only

this season.

Or maybe his form has dropped because he's been struggling with something?
