I’m a bit perplexed as to how Wolves, Everton think he is not that good but a lot of fans on here think he is going to be amazing and it’s a disaster him being injured.

You do realise we’ve been relegated?

Bingo.

If he has hurt himself badly, then it makes us desperate to buy another and pay over the top.

Crap happens, just gotta move on play with who is healthy and aim to win.

At this level..the opposition will already know..

Jesus 50 years ago at a youth international athletes

meeting we knew the niggles and injuries of our opponents

even in other disciplines..

It didn’t motivate or discourage anybody and that included

the eastern block..countries

So why not be just open about it to the fans..

its the wrong time to play around with MI5 antics.
Trust goes out of the window club on top

of past desciscions can lose 3-5000 paying fans

just on delaying itself..we are a fickle lot

Creatin an unwittingly speculation actually

loses media interest because fans lose interest..

If for unseen medical reasons..

like you say shit happen, but then the fans can move on,

get the melt down out of the way,

and prepare to accept our predicament…

Even the above is from my speculation that leads

to a silly trivial roundabout of unnecessary intrigue..

If he is out for a long time, it opens up the potential for a replacement to demand higher wages as Coadys will be covered by the insurance. No need to weaken our hand in any negotiations (as well as transfer fee as someone mentioned).

I do wonder what our insurance premium is a year after our recent seasons of injuries....

Like getting a car insurance quote after having 21 car accidents and being banned from driving in the past two years.

Likely to have gone down due to the speculates wage reductions.

.. if we go into the market looking for a replacement, then other clubs will know it is a long-term injury, without the veiled black-out by our club!!!

It will not be difficult to deduce?

with PL wages what they are, do these policies actually exists nowadays?

I know there is still insurance against career ending stuff but not sure about shorter periods. The premiums would be incredible.

Really hope this is true otherwise they’ll panic buy another cb and neglect other areas of the team.

That and Vestergaard is horrendous.

A different version of what he said on Friday but means the same

until they actually say what the injury is, it’s all guesswork for us

Or you just stop thinking about it and when he's back , be happy :)

I feel like it must be true  (seems pointless, possibly even counter-productive to mislead), and if we were going to panic buy, we'd have done so by now :)

Vestergaard in for a few weeks just in time for him to shop window himself to a move to Turkey 1st Sept. Perfect imo.
