He was signing and having photos after the game. “Only a few weeks”. But he’s bound to say that, right?

given the nature of things and the fact hes been wearing a protective boot, pretty clear he wouldnt be back till later september tbf, suspect its more likely mid october before hes back in the team proper

Wouldn't be comfortable with Vesty filling in for that length of time, and we've got Norwich & Soton in Sept. If Souttar isn't going to get a go then I'd like to see us use Justin more and shift Doyle alongside Faes.

8 games out and worst part is his return is after the window ends. Think we’ll be playing with Vestergaard until then. ****.

Ffs. Are those people who are convinced 'it's just bad luck' still maintaining that stance? This is a guy with an impeccable injury record.

It's a bloody impact injury. Give it a break.

A loan signing for a centre back wouldn't be a terrible idea. Also means that it's unlikely Faes will leave now. Our cb options are one out of favour (Souttar), one who doesn't want to be here and we don't want him (vestergaard), Doyle and Faes. We will definitely need cover

For someone who doesn’t want to be here he doesn’t half turn down so many opportunities to leave.

At least we can’t panic buy Vestergaard this time…

He was allowed to play on, while injured, in a meaningless pre-season friendly. That's not great management of an injury is it? He should have not been allowed to 'run it off' in a game that meant nothing, especially.

Which means Souttar is off. Shame. Thought he’d be ace in this division but obviously his all round game doesn’t appeal to Enzo,
