FoxesWalk Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 No link to a specific club but Enzo says he might be leaving… Maybe this is why we were rumoured to be after Harwood Bellis on a permanent deal?
Popular Post TommyK Posted 4 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 August 2023 Shame really, I presumed he would be central to our promotion push with his Championship experience. 21
Popular Post Fox 4 Life Posted 4 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 August 2023 This is madness, get rid of Faes if anything, he won't want to be here. 11
FerrisBueller Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 Is he a bit shite? Seems like two managers didn’t fancy him.

Have I actually seen him have a great game? btw, I've never seen Vesty have a good game. I have seen Faes have a couple of great games, towards the start of his time here (before he got Brendaned)

If he goes we are looking a bit bare in that position for my liking. I’d keep him around simply to get his head on everything. 1
BenTheFox Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 He simply doesn't fancy him. Shame because I thought he was decent. 3
moore_94 Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 (edited) Can’t see anyone in the Prem or Championship going for him permanently without at least a big loss on what we paid and us covering some of his wages If he does go I think it would end up being a loan I think he will end up staying anyway Edited 4 August 2023 by moore_94
lcfc_forever Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 He's the quote from Enzo according to the Mercury - maybe Owynn reading too much into this? “Harry’s a guy who since day one has been working very well. But for 25 players in the squad, something can happen. No (he’s not said he wants to leave).” 3

Stevosevic Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 Not the first manager we’ve had that doesn’t rate him
Pliskin Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 This is all pointing horribly to Vesty starting that first game…….. 5

Popular Post egg_fried_rice Posted 4 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 4 August 2023 From what I've seen of all three of them, I'd much rather see him playing than Vesty or Faes. He's far and away our best defender aerially, which should be a useful asset in the Championship, and he's got a good pass on him too so I'm surprised Enzo doesn't fancy him. 7

I have seen Faes have a couple of great games, towards the start of his time here (before he got Brendaned) Outstanding v Brentford and Geordies. But as someone pointed out, Brentford go long and high and Newcastle was us inviting pressure and the game in front of him. Both scenarios he is bound to do well in. Vesty was excellent v Man City when he first signed and had a great cameo away at Rennes. Faes I really like. I think he's had 7 or 8 top games in an otherwise disastrous season. Wolves home and away in particular. West Ham away. Everton away. 1

Dusty Posted 4 August 2023 Posted 4 August 2023 I’ve been struggling to see how he fits in when everyone is fit. He really doesn’t seem right for the RCB position when we go to a back 3, enzo clearly prefers more mobile options there. And then although he’s good on the ball, I don’t think he’s good enough to play the central CB role that enzo wants either. If we could get Harwood-Bellis then I’d deffo be okay with Soutts leaving. 3
