Nobody would pay what we want in the summer either. Our financial situation means anything we get is take it or leave it. As we found out over the last two summer windows, we're not in a strong position to negotiate.

true but the club will want at least £35mil(with add ons), theyll stand firm on that

regardless of the position, look how they was with Iversen

What a bloody never ending misery this season is

well. it will definitely end in May, so that is a slight overstatement.

on the upside, Villa have Torres, Carlos, Rogers and Dhuran out this week, so it could be a worse time to play them.

Feeling like smokescreen for a sale now we’re apparently close to a PSR fail.

I'm not so sure. If I remember right, Vardy had a groin problem that plagued him for a few seasons;  even after an operation it gave him trouble.  Haven't heard it mentioned for the last couple of seasons, though,  so maybe it's settled down for him.

Even if relegation is avoided this season, Leicester will return to the model of selling one key player every summer to assist with PSR compliance.

Mads Hermansen, the Danish goalkeeper, has emerged as the most likely sale after impressing in the Premier League this season.

Rival clubs have been made aware of his potential availability and in the recent 2-2 draw with Brighton, Hermansen was watched by Manchester United’s chief goalkeeping scout, Tony Coton.

Man utd  would normally be our best bet unless they are skint which would be our luck.
They normally have a horrible history of extortionate transfers with man utd added tax which inflates the price 50%.

RVN has said he is out for a number of weeks, I reckon he is being protected in the event we sell in this window.

Abdul posted a video of him in the cryo chamber so he is genuinely injured by the looks of things

No chance, makes no sense.

This is reminding me of when Castagne was injured a few years ago and Rodgers kept saying he’s a week away, ended up being out for like 11 weeks lol

If i recall, after about 6 weeks Rodgers said (really chillingly), that they were going to drain the blood in his leg to see if that would help. Poor Mads if we have the same doctors

Need him back before Arsenal if we're to survive imo. Our defence isn't strong enough to handle the drop in keeper quality, even if Stol is a perfectly reasonable keeper. This next month of games is too important.

Bumped Into Mads after the game today such a really nice bloke, asked him when he should be back fit and he said he should be back for the Spurs game in a couple of weeks.

Was great to hear the news we certainly have missed him between the sticks !

For wannabe ITKs, this is how you do it ;-)

Sadly your hope will turn into a nightmare, even if we stay up.
