One of the most overrated players we've had, in my view. Zero athleticism, a sideways passer, and not up for the fight. Someone the other day said he'd get into our 2015/16 team over Drinkwater—never read anything so stupid in my life. Leicester's Drinkwater was twice the player.

Yeah his no Soumare, or Praet.....

Yeah, nice clip from the Championship. We’re in the Premier League now, and he can’t hack it, which is exactly why Spurs got rid of him. Came off with a ‘groin strain’ against Chelsea so he could get ready for his night out in Copenhagen 😂. Wouldn’t even make my top 10 CMs we’ve had over the years, put it that way. Hope I’m proved wrong!

So, to clarify, you believe he was up for the fight last season, but isn't this season?

Im sure he would have been capable of getting ready for the night out if he had played the full 90. Cooper has Skipp stripped off and ready to come on before the physio even got to Winks. Aside from Rodgers I can't think of any manager that would continue to play a player that has a muscle strain.

He brings good leadership to the team for me, he's always talking to players and has top notch attitude. We've had far too many shrinking violets on the pitch in the past 5 years, it's nice to have a player with a bit of personality. Not particularly outstanding technically or physically at Prem level I'd agree.

But for me, he's definitely a fighter and a great player to have on the pitch. He understands the game and it shows. Being someone capable of independent thought it clearly bothered him having to work to Coopers tactics when it's obvious the guy was hampering us with his tactics. Not a surprise that Vardy also had plenty to say when he came off against Chelsea.

Brentford’s midfield were slicing through us with ease today neither Soumare or Ndidi were holding and the 2 or 3 times we did get the ball our “midfield” was bypassed with the ball lumped back up field for Brentford to attack again just because we had no one who could start an attack or provide an out, he is a very important cog in what we try to do.

Yeah we need his quality, but am still not happy with him at that party, not only due to disrespect to Cooper but also he was injured and travelled there.

Any love in with Enzo needs to end, he isnt our manager or his boss anymore, get it out of his head, and respect everything Ruud asks him to do.

He’s a very good player, I don’t get the hate here?

If your passing options are Ndidi and Soumare, both who treat the ball like a hot potato, what do you expect?

This. The system hasn't helped him either. He's tidy, but we're not giving him much options. He did some great line breaking passes against Man Utd, but no one picked it up. He's not a tough tackler, but technically I think he's good.

More interested in partying that his football, he can **** off and play for Enzo as he misses him so much

Enzo doesn't want him. He took KDH and left Winks behind, who's now acting like a love sick puppy.

Everyone needs a metronome, and he’s ours. Look what happened when he didn’t play yesterday - we had no foundation in the middle of the park, no gears to work through and ultimately no control whatsoever.

I Skipp is a decent player. Play him alongside Winks, and he will us more mobility and energy, which has been sorely missing in our midfield. Our defense, rightly get criticised, but our midfield isn’t offering protection and therefore, our defenders are out of position. In transition. I am hoping that this could be resolved with a more tactical aware coach and players with more mobility🤞

Going in January.

No shot. Against teams where we have more possession RVN will love having him as an option to retain the ball. Similar to Veerman at PSV.

If any of the options will be on their way out it’ll be Hamza on loan.

His performances this season have been atrocious. Seems to get a free pass from our fans because he looked above average in the championship last season but his limitations this season are clear to see. I'll be glad when he's gone

"As players before the game, we said that we need to play with the ball and rest with it."

"We have to get back to enjoying the ball, keeping it, and resting with the ball. That's the only way we are going to score, and we have to get back into the mindset of enjoying it."
