If that's true then f him.

I think he's our best footballer but if he's being an arse for the second season running my patience has gone.

I wonder if in the days of Walsh, Taggart, Elliott and Lennon whether someone might have had a gentle word of encouragement in his ear?

How did they do with Dennis Wise?

with his contract up in the summer I don't think it would hurt us PSR wise to just pay up the remainder of his deal, it would hit any transfer budget, ideally a club will want to take him on a free in January so we don't have to do that or can save some of it making up the difference in his wages.

Its the same situation with Coady just get him out the club

The future of Marty is entirely linked to Winks.

If he ever picks him again then he’ll lose the dressing room, if he drops him from the squad he may be able to survive

Marty may have saved his job today by dropping the lazy fat little toad

Before this summer I would agree, but we look to have woken up a bit to the utter shambles we are financially.

Always see this said on here (not saying you're wrong) but so often they just go for free anyway.

Whatever they're doing is not working.

Winks should never play another minute for Leicester. Another piss take of the fans if he does.

I completely agree, Marti has been massively burnt doing this and I never want to see him in our shirt again.

Marti inherited a mess & has struggled to make to make something of it. There will need to be a major cleanup & hopefully the City brain trust can supply him with some decent players.  Top needs to remove himself from the every day running of the club & punt Rudkin upstairs before the next window

Top removed himself from the every day running of the club a cpl of seasons ago

Hopefully we never see him again. If he is the disruptive influence we are hearing about he should be first on the transfer list and never pull on our shirt again.

I am of the opinion that if he goes, then get Braybrooke back and he can genuinely compete with Skipp for a spot next to James. Send Newport Logan Briggs and Tommy Neale on loan.

He's a star in league 2, the championship is leagues above that mate. We have no proof he can genuinely compete at all.

We have no proof he can't either.

Not wrong, but we continually assume academy players are just going to slot in. It's not always the case

It's no different to bringing in foreign players, or players from other divisions.

What we do know is that there are plenty in the squad that are experienced premier league and international players that do not perform for us. It makes the argument not to give youngsters opportunities null and should give acceptance that they may not perform well in every game.
