Any idea what we paid to terminate his contract?

If Rudkin is negotiating it, the formula he used would be as following;

Weekly wage X weeks in the year X years left on his deal + signing off bonus

Since we decided to renew his contract he played 49 league games, conceded 87 goals in those games and was relegated twice.

And he fell out with 2 managers

Isn’t it brilliant when we get in a sporting director who performs the role of a sporting director.

Cant knock him so far!

As long as Rudkin keeps his nose out impressive start long may it go on.

This is the greatest day in Leicester City history since yesterday when Winks left.

Excellent! Hopefully it's that dickhead Faes next. It will be the perfect summer if we can get him out of the club.

Good on him!!!

I now like him!  Should save a few of the coffers and stop king power going under

This is probably a woooshh, but he was wanting us to pay him off.

The reactions on here are rather harsh.

Yes, we paid Southampton £15m back in the day.

Let‘s also not forget that Vestergaard missed the last third of the 2021/22 season, the entire 2022/23 season and large parts of 2024/25 due to injury. Hardly his fault.

Did the club management simply not know about his injury history (which began while he was at Southampton)?

In hindsight, just another panic buy (under Rodgers).

But I concur: It‘s great to have him off the wage bill.

Harsh?

And what about the constant falling out with managers, appalling attitude and being completely hopeless on the pitch?

Another who'll still end up in a top 5 European league despite 3 relegations in 4 seasons.

I can't see it. He should have made the move two years ago.

I think he'll go to Denmark.

That swamp is nearly drained, fair play to McCarron.

According to the official site, we now have a first team squad of 17 (4 of them are goalkeepers), but interestingly no Faes listed. Hopefully next on the chopping block.

Not harsh enough. He was absolute rubbish, cost us loads of money, contributed nothing aside from three relegations. Never seen a defender so tall yet so weak and unable to win a header.

McCarron getting stuff done. Whoever sanctioned a 3 year extension in 2024 needs to be fired (or perhaps promoted…).

I wonder how we’ll replace his professionalism, attitude and speed?

You mean Enzo? :P
