Oh sorry.  I just assumed that was the reason you started throwing silly insults around just because I don't believe you know the personal terms of two deals that didn't happen.

My mistake.

Carry on.

I can’t. I’m rattled

Player retires after Leicester City contract torn up – Not mentally in it

Defender Jannik Vestergaard is set to retire after seeing his contract at Leicester City torn up this summer.

The 34-year-old has elected ot bring an end to his playing career after struggling to find a new club following his departure from Leicester this summer.

The centre-back reached a mutual agreement with Leicester to tear up his deal earlier this year following their relegation to League one. It brought an end to a five-year stay with the Foxes, who he initially joined in a €17.6m deal in 2021.

3 years too late.

I could have told you this in about October 2024. We continued to pay his massive wage while he wasn't mentally in it.

Yeah I think we could tell he (and others) were ‘not mentally in it’ for a long time now!

Mentally gone - haha you don’t say.

Even if he thinks that, he must not realise how offensive it is to a recent former employer who paid him a fortune while he couldn’t be arsed.

As others have said it was pretty obvious mentally he’d checked out a while ago.

3 year deal in 2024. Genius.

At a time when draining the swamp was needed, this goes down as one of the worst deals we ever did.

Smallest 6,6ft defender ever

The only person I've ever seen to be shorter when they jump.

When I saw this thread at the top I was concerned we'd signed him again.
