Has been for 3 seasons or so now. Often within moments of entering the pitch. How much more consistent do you want? Just my opinion I think someone else out there would suit us better.
lee7 Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 Iheanacho is irreplaceable with such a short amount of time left in the transfer window. None of our other strikers offer what he does.

Worth saying Maresca's 23s scored loads and Delap who's 6ft4 scored 24 goals in 20 games, think someone who gets on crosses would be far better suited to this system. I think Delap would have been ideal. It’ll be interesting to see how he fares this season at Hull.

But as it stands we are top of the league with a 100% win rate, and he has just one assist so far. So he probably is replaceable. The tactics with Maresca will make a team where 4-5 players end up with over 10 goals a season rather than 1 that gets 25+. But what I have said all summer is that we won't get a better striker statistically than Nacho to sign for a club in this division. 7
Popular Post Happy Fox Posted 28 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 28 August 2023 5 appearances 1 goal and two assists , and people want rid. It’s totally insane. I guarantee you Nacho will produce the goods this season. 5

And so far we've played 2 of the current bottom 4, 17th placed Cardiff and midtable Cov. So in effect we've not even played the decent teams in the league yet. This isn't hating on Kel. Just facts. 1

If we get an acceptable offer and have a plan to replace him it makes good sense to sell. 6

He’s played in 4 championship games, starting 3, against bottom of the division opposition and he’s yet to score. I really like Nacho, but I think most people would agree he’s not a prolific scorer and maybe we need that in this team.

coolhandfox Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 If its 20m we would be crazy to turn it down with 12 months left.

JimJams Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 Good starting position. If there's enough desperate clubs we could well get it. Wolves, Forest, Everton, Palace. Though 15 is what I'd expect us to let him go for. 1

lcfc sheff Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 He even signs a new deal or we accept £20m. It’s simple
Guest nathan. Posted 28 August 2023 Posted 28 August 2023 Nacho is bang average and would happily sell for £20m Problem is we have 4 days to find a replacement.
