Im fine with it being a red as long as every time a player does it they also get a red card.

That’s right but there’s context 

if rashford goes a foot past the ball then it’s still within his playing control and if he contacts the defender then the defender is trying to play the ball 

by going several feet past the ball rashford is endangering the safety of his opponent who has to have his feet somewhere whilst not actually competing for the ball.

Apparently VAR is "out of control" because in the Champions League it doesn't just give Manchester United everything they need to hide the fact they're shit. 

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with the decisions yesterday. Maguire's arm is up doing the okey cokey and Rashford full on stands on some guy's ankle with a full leg breaker. 

 

The fvck are they moaning about. Just bottle merchants that went in to panic mode whilst beating a pub team 2 - 0. Can you imagine Man City or Bayern or someone collapsing from there, even with 10, against FCK?

All this about VAR, media painting it as "out of control". But it wasn't "out of control" earlier in the season when Man Utd got favourable decisions in home games against Wolves and Forest.

 

Absoloute joke. As always people moaning about it when it doesn't go their way.

I notice 'everything goes against Man Utd' even though they got a penalty which was more controversial than any decision that did go against them.

 

All the managers just as bad as each other. Arteta's comments the other day were a load of shite to try and justify his rant beforehand. They love when decisions go their way but can't hack it if a referee dare to make a 50/50 call against them. It's precisely one of the (many) reasons why fans hated Fergie back in the day - lambast and disrespect referees into feeling the pressure to give Man Utd everything.

I’m sorry, was it Brendan who bought Salah, Mane, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Richardson, Allison ? Was it Brendan who promoted TAA ? No sorry, he promoted the other superstar, Flanagan. Was it Brendan who implemented the Gengenpress style ? Secondly, no mention of his longest serving term of his managerial career - don’t worry, we appear later down. 
 

So against this backdrop, what can Rodgers do? The Northern Irishman remains a coach of quality and personality but he cannot work miracles and to take Celtic out of a Champions League containing Atletico, Lazio and Feyenoord would have been a huge ask. The Dutch Eredivisie is not exactly in the rudest health its ever been in but even they take £90m a year from the broadcasters - three times the SPL figure.

 

Did Brendan write this - it sounds all too familiar. 
 

Rodgers may have many reasons to be back in Scotland, both personal and professional. If he felt he needed some time away from the English game after a couple of difficult seasons as the spending was pulled back at Leicester then that would be understandable. Emotional attachments to Celtic are important too

 

Ah, there we are. A couple of difficult seasons ? Spending pulled back ? Couple ? Wasn’t it one transfer window. Surely I’m mistaken.

 

His ability to improve players and his courage to afford his teams tactical freedom and responsibility was always refreshing and that survived and grew during his time at Leicester

 

Only one answer to that. **** off. 
 

Oh and no mention of our relegation. Reading that, I’ve come to one conclusion which I can’t say.

His transformation of Liverpool was so great that Klopp basically had to rip that squad up. His refreshing style at Leicester left us with a team of players currently in the Champions League/ other European competitions in 19th in April.

 

Usual Brendan loving bullshit from the media.
