5 games and 5 wins , Kasey McAteer with the double , HMS Piss the league full steam ahead, one thing Ive learned today is our Gerry is amongst us because it was Vestergaard fault for not winning Doyles header for his goal

Great that we're dragging these results out when we aren't playing brilliantly. We're making a habit of winning, and that's not a bad habit to have. 

 

Love to see more academy players doing well, that's 3 goals in 2 games from academy graduates. 

 

 

But, our luck may well run out with getting these late winners. We need to cut out conceding these sloppy goals..

The play style is improving, but I'm concerned we aren't scoring plenty. We did seem to be sussed out during that second half.

Gotten away with it a bit, still not sure what was wrong with their disallowed goal, but 9 points gained in the final 20 minutes of games already this season, our superior fitness should see us comfortable in this division even before we get up to speed.

 

Big week now to get the squad Maresca wants, get working Rudders

I hope this result acts as a sort of fable for those in the match thread before a ball has even been kicked starting with negativity surrounding Kasey, Enzo, the squad, four league games, four wins. 
 

the squad clearly needs depth, enzo has spoken about it many times, he is working with those that want to work clearly and getting results. 
 

moral of the day, behave.

They all could have been as fit as us but it’s our style of play that makes the other teams more knackered because that’s what it’s done to them chasing the ball all game

Good result…

 

But, there were some concerns with the second half. 
 

There is a running theme throughout the games that there is a period in the second half when we completely lose control of the game, if it wasn’t for the lack of quality in this league, we would be buried in a few of the games. 
 

It’s impressive that we are grinding out the results, but, have we really been tested? 
 

The acid test will be a Norwich or a West Brom, because I’m not totally convinced we are really ready to take these teams on. 
 

Hate to be pessimistic, but I’m just think we’re on the verge of an absolute spanking….

 

Not impressed with Mavididi today, thought he looked completely ineffective and really lacks composure and quality in the final third.

Points over performance! Happy days!

 

Our fitness and late goals will give us so much confidence going in to any game.

 

Very happy for McAteer and his goals. More confidence into him! 

 

Maximum points. Can't complain.
