for me, Sam Alisson is probably one of the best ref's in the country, you can tell he played the game to a reasonable standard too plus he can keep up with play as well unlike some others

For us older folk Sam Allison is son of Wayne a big old fashioned centre forward

This is all well and good, he’s obviously a good ref but he’s only one clanger away from being thrown in with the rest.

Allison has been outstanding in the two games he’s been in charge of at the KP. He quietly goes about his business and is decisive but treats players with respect. It was noticeable players didn’t complain about decisions, perhaps because they know he was a decent footballer himself and knows all the tricks that are played and probably because of how he communicates with them. It also has to be said that we don’t really have a shithouse in our team and nor did Huddersfield. The real test will be when he has to referee a Notts Forest game and comes up against a true master of shithousery in Yates. None of the refs I’ve seen can’t cope with his persistent conning, play acting and blatant cheating,

Even the Leicester commentators are getting rattled by the crowd so no surprise the ref has bottled it. I don't think the penalty was a red but it was far more of a red than Fatawu's challenge

He's lost all control of this. He's done well to spot the penalty as you can see he got the ball first but he's bottled it by instantly trying to appease the Cov fans

another meh ref, its actually shocking how bad the officials are in general in this country now, used to be top notch for officials but now they are mostly below average

A ref with zero minerals should not be refereeing any derby games, he's literally bottled it because of the pressure from the crowd

Unfortunately that's what happens when the punishment for being shit in the premier league is to get demoted to the championship

All Refereeing in this country is Absolutely shockingly Schitt and the PGMOL Boys club bring in a female ref who had a great game and she’s not officiated since, incompetence Biased BullSchitt absolutely ruining the game and don’t get me started on VAR ( Verifying All Referees(Incompetence!). !)

PGMOL need to be made accountable for the mistakes and refs should be interviewed post match to explain decisions!

She did Preston v Sheff Wednesday the other week  tbf and got criticised for sending a SW player off .

 

By the Wednesday fans naturally (even though they won )

 

Lots of varied opinions around as usual .

 

Should both be red cards /yelllow cards ?

 

Guess when one is and the other a red that is the inconsistency which frustrates people.

Only properly watched from 60 mins but that ref was an absolute disgrace. How did Palmer not get a second yellow? He got pretty much every decision wrong.

Lost his head completely after the penalty and set about"evening things up" to the extent he fixed the entire game in their favour. And the decision he was "making up for" was completely correct, and by the laws of the game should have been a straight red anyway, was way worse than that one Vardy was sent off for vs Wolves a few years back. Appalling, absolutely the worst performance of the entire season, made Keith Stroud look like he knew how to ref a game
