After so long of feeling disconnected and disillusioned with the club I now finally feel like we've got a manager and a group of players to be proud of. We have a clear identity in terms of playing style and players clearly hungry to play for Leicester City football club.

It feels so nice to be looking forward to watching us play. There will of course be bumps in the road along the way but for me I've got my love for the club back

Same here mate and it’s not only because we are winning.

Theres a nice blend of youth and experience, the signings have made far more sense and we have a way of playing and a game plan that the lads have bought into.

I think Maresca could go on to become an exceptional manager given time

We shouldn't be in this division. The one thing that's surprised me the most is the gulf in class between Premier League and Championship - it's far bigger than I could have imagined.

Let's enjoy trouncing teams of course but the proof will be next season if we can play well at the top level again.

Same.

The difference in standard is absolutely massive.

It's still very early.

I'm watching games on Sky and I'll go to a few, home and away, but I'm not bothering to stream 3pm Saturday games like I would before.

And I'm alright with that.

The early signs are good, but it's a long season.

Agree with all of this, and also with others mentioning the gulf in class between the premier league and championship, it's absolutely huge. Hopefully the football clicks soon and we can start expressing ourselves as the football is pretty ugly right now. But the results are what matters most and time will tell on the style. Good early signs.

Totally agree.

Enjoying the Championship almost enough to not want to get promoted... almost.

A long way to go, but so far haven't missed the media bombardment and hyper-analysis that follows the Premier League, AND VAR!! Having said that, if we somehow don't go up this season, it'll quickly become a very difficult place to be again, I feel.

This is obviously true, but it's easy to forget that at one point we appeared to be so badly run to the point we could have spiralled out of control.

The signings of Winks, Mavididi and Hermansen in particular are proving to be of a level we shouldn't take for granted either.

And it's one thing to get results and another to do it while totally reinventing the way we play.

I think we can be forgiven for getting a little excited, even if we shouldn't be here in the first place.

I'm enjoying my football more than I have since we were in the Champions League, I think.

I don't think it can be overstated how much a connection between manager/players and the fans contributes- we played some brilliant stuff under Rodgers early doors but you knew he was never totally invested, and I don't think I ever fully bought in.

Very well said.

At the end of the game the whole team went out to the away fans and applauded them. Things like that build a connection, and it's something we wanted back!

I am slowly but surely, being able to handle the stress of conceding a corner now.

There is still a lot of scar tissue from Brendan and feeling like giving a corner away was the same as a penalty.

I will need more time, but I'm getting there!
