Be a shame not to see how he would develop the side in the prem, but there are plenty of good mangers available. Just have to pray the club are prepared...

Oh, @sdb. Bless you. Another club would probably be, but we have one faulty variable.....Rudkin

It'll work well at Chelsea for him.

Ben Chilwell will be out the door. Probably end up somewhere like Everton or West Ham.

Colwill will be his left back come LCB.

Every cloud…

I wonder if the lack of renewal rumours for players is due to club knowing Chelsea were interested?

No…. Can’t renew as we are still technically EFL.

I wish Chelsea would piss off.

This won’t go down well if he stays …

Totally agree, we are left if true with a manager who will jump as soon as a big club comes calling, going to make signings difficult for enzo if players know he’s not committed……we’ll have to leave that to rudkin……

What are the chances that he stays and within days you hear he has signed a new, improved, extended contract with us.

Why? It'd be great if he stays.

Hope not. We can’t afford the severance if he ends up not working out. Surely they’ve learnt from Rodgers.

With Pep’s next season likely to be his last surely Enzo has eyes on that?

Arteta will get the Manchester City job.

Mahrez was running around Airports trying to get clubs to sign him and he was much more of a legend than Enzo is. Everybody hated him for that even to this day

Enzo is litterally pushing for the chelsea job when only achieving what was expected.

If he stays now it doesn't look good for the club. Certainly shouldn't get a new contract

That’d be a kick in the nuts for Arsenal but yes I see what you mean.

Chelsea are mental really. Two of their directors prefer Maresca for football reasons when Reece James and Malo Gusto are two of their best players.

Are people getting angry that he’s looked elsewhere?

Do they not  apply for other jobs whilst they’re employed?

Do they not do this for the counter offer to stay with more money and better terms from the existing company?

There is applying for jobs and then applying for jobs, telling people that you know will go back to your current employer you’re super keen to go . . .

Football is a crazy world.

It does feel a little bit Rodgers going to Arsenal though.
