Asking Chelsea to show respect :giggle:. The club that encourage under contract players to phone in to their clubs sick and meet them for talks instead of training. The club who turned up for a Cup Final against us in Chavy shell suits as if they were hanging out at a shopping centre for the afternoon. The club who targeted Ricardo's knee in order to provoke a ruck close enough to the bench to get to substitute Amartey (who OK was a little disrespectful to them a few days earlier). The club who cynically took out De-Bruyne in the Champions League Final, the club who....................................................etc

All that and you haven't even got to their racist, elitist fans

We'll see how well we've learned some lessons with how quickly we get a replacement in. Luckily deals like the Fatawu one are already in place, but could impact the decision making of Ndidi and co

It would be quite nice to just have a season where not a lot happens. No threat of relegation just a nice boring mid table season or 2  please

Vile club with absolutely no class

And we seem to be a feeder club for them.

Kante. Forfana. Chillwell. Drinkwater and now our manager.

Perhaps the compo could also include them taking on half of our impending points deduction?

Reckon Ricardo might end up joining him now. Massive loss for us either way. Don't see him staying anyway.

Doubt it.

Riccy P is good but not Chelsea level.

Enzo isn't going to poach any of our group, Mads at most.

Chelsea look in a completely different pool of player to what we can afford and obtain.

No but Enzo not only got the best out of him but also through a style of play that didn't crock him every few weeks

Actually more interested to watch Balague now fumble his way through the sh1t show that is Chelsea.

To be fair, he has a LOT of material to deflect any blame away from Enzo, and a lot of it will likely be justified

You think with some of the comments, Enzo is going to rip up bits of Seagrave like the wallpaper and turf and take it with him to Chelsea.

Managers come and go. It's football.

Not sure why people would have egg in their faces. Villa finished 4th this season so he’s not got to beat a lot.

If he does well at Chelsea it doesn’t change the fact that he’d struggle to implement his style of football with inferior players relative to the division.

I’m not confident he’d have kept us up, but having better players does tend to make you look a better manager.

Still, he did the job here and I’ve nothing against him.

people would have egg on their faces because some are convinced he will be gone by Christmas.

We're probably another decade from that being enough for Leicester fans though. The premier league win, and probably the FA cup win and those chances of finishing 4th under Rodgers, gave a skewed view and expectation of who we were for a good 20+ years previous to that.

Plus, for all their faults in getting us into this mess, the board and the owners probably wouldn't see that as good enough either. Take me back to 1997 where a top 10 finish was a success :D

This is Chelsea, I’m not saying it will happen but it isn’t silly to think it would that is for sure. Chelsea aren’t the most patient

I'm relieved, now another team will have to run the experiment of if Enzoball will work in the PL.  Not that I have anything against Enzo, I can understand why he would go, in life you have to take your opportunities when they present themselves, you may never get a second chance.  I wish him well.

Chelsea talks with Maresca progressing well

Latest from Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol:

Chelsea's talks with Enzo Maresca are progressing well, with a club delegation currently in Marbella for meetings with the Leicester boss.

Maresca is excited about the prospect of becoming Chelsea head coach but wants to make sure everything is done in the right way and that Leicester receive the respect they deserve.

He is grateful to the Leicester owners for giving him the opportunity to manage the club and if he leaves, he wants to make sure he maintains good relations.

The details of any potential move still need to be agreed - compensation, personal terms, and the make-up of backroom staff who could move with Maresca.

The process is still likely to take a few days to be completed.

**** off, just go

He was continually crocked playing for Rodgers.  There are probably a few managers other than Enzo who could keep him injury-free.

Really? He's been decent but not a scratch on Prime Ricardo.
