Aaah, that explains the size of the green area that Hamza was able to cover today.

Mentioned this at the game today. When we were in possession trying to progress he was always positioned with an opposition player between him and the ball. It wasn’t brilliant marking from Oxford it was him unwilling to find space and help his team. Abysmal player and his inability to do more than pass 5-10 yards backwards is shameful.

Was taking the mick out of him Saturday. Every pass he played in the 1st half was backwards. Called each one when he got the ball. At one point, he took two big strides forward with the ball and we were 'woahhhh' here we go, and he span round like he'd shat his.pants and passed it backwards. Useless.

He’s not motivated to do well for us. Has had two big contracts from us and is sorted for life. Same for Thomas. Both are also stupid regarding their football intelligence, so they can’t even get away with not putting the effort, it’s all they have.

He did really well for Wilder at Sheffield United which just tells me the culture at this club has allowed his performances. Not defending him either in that. He's part of that culture as much as any of the players. Captain or stand in captain and he's the last role model you'd want to have.

Vice captain out on the piss slagging off the manager is pretty apt though. Reminds me of the 2004-08 days when I was at uni. We were so shit and the players were always out on the lash. They also failed to see the irony.

I can believe it, and the quote about Marti being the worst of the lot (incredible really, given RVN clearly had no talent or desire to succeed). But Hamza has been shocking of late. The game bypassed him yesterday and his cameo at Wrexham was even worse. He'd not look out of place at an over 70s walking football.
