Yeah but what has that got to do with judging the way he plays. Yeah he's muslim and yeah he may be drinking after games but religion has nothing to do with him being dung player. All these players/managers that aren’t the main problem, still make one massive problem when added together. Let’s be real, Hamza has taken the piss regularly, no more so than during Covid - with the party and getting caught drink driving. Yet we’ve made him vice captain. Hideous.

He is exactly the sort of utility academy product that other premier league teams are very good at moving on for a handful of millions, then bring the next one through.

 

He's been gumming up the squad for too many years now, earning absolutely insane money for the level.

I think it is time for us to part ways, his first team debut was in 2017 and he is nothing more than a rotation player at best. 152 games in that time and three loans elsewhere, he seems to be riding the new manager wave of surviving and earning improved contracts for being 'home grown'. 

 

Our academy has only produced three players in the past ten years who have gone onto do anything of note - KDH, Chilwell and Barnes, the rest have just been average - at best. I think the 'one of our own' label is something that idiot upstairs is clinging to for dear life.

Yeah that was my point as well, whether he observes that part of his faith is not relevant to his job, except insofar as alcohol is unequivocally not compatible with elite fitness.
