Honestly I just don't understand the hate for Hamza at times. Yes he's not our best player, but today he's been far from our worst. Faes, Vesty, Doyle, Fatawu, Mavididi, Daka all been far worse, but the match thread is full of hate for a player from our own academy. I've asked the question before and been banned for questioning if there is anything else going on. But yeah..... Probably will be banned again but hey ho.

 that's not really fair tbh. First goal - Faes is covering vesty who's been skipped past and it's either sterling is open or cucerella. choudhury has picked up the more central player but there's

more than one free man you so you can't leave the blame with him. Bad defending in general. 
 

Second goal faes and vesty have been beaten in the air, balls flicked over the back line no catching sterling. 

 

Also btw crosses for goals came from two different sides 

 

They've looked a bit shaky at the back in general but poor to scapegoat one player

i think its more the fact i think hes better in the middle compared inverted RB

oh stop bringing up that he's one of our own

If he actually cared about that he wouldn't bring "his" club into disrepute with his drink driving and at times braindead social media activity, nevermind him stinking up the gaff at least every other game WHILE wearing the armband

Swear loads here will insist on having "Yeah but Hamza wore the armband after getting done for drink driving" on their headstones, such a monumentous occasion it was in their lives.

 

The club dealt with it internally however they saw fit. It was stupid, he thankfully didn't hurt anyone, it's in the past.

It's strange how the anti Hamza brigade find him as a scapegoat for anything that happens. He's being asked to play a specialist role of fullback who then covers central midfield as well. 

For a start he's not a fullback but that's Maresca with his square pegs in round holes job. Fatawu has proved he's not capable of reading the game and covering the fullback spot when Choudhury is in midfield and is more of an issue.

Pointing that out is childishly classed as hate

 

Most can see that he’s not a RB and certainly not a IRB

 

He doesn’t pick himself and may be a lovely chap but we are weakened with a massive hole on our right as the first 3 today proved

Just doesn’t close down his man around the edge of the box. It’s such a simple task. He’ll absolutely dive in when further upfield but around his own box it’s passive blocking  and it’s cost us multiple goals.
