Nice to have a strong and convincing win at home as most of our better wins have been on the road.

 

Very pleased for Daka too. Also invaluable to be able to take some off for a rest early which is of course the benefit of having the game wrapped up.

 

It’s great that we seem to have recovered from the blip in results well!

That performance from Daka today can't be ignored. He looked good in that position

I watched the first half half which was ok-ish.
 

I rejoined just after half time to find we were 4-0 up. 
 

Watched the rest of the game which was, again, ok-ish. 
 

Still no idea how/why we we scored the goals 🤷‍♂️

Agree , we did , great win however as the season progresses I’d love to see us up the tempo as in no way will we be able to play this kinda ( take the piss sorta football) we generally take the piss especially at the back what with our stroll it out slow to vesty then back n forth. This ain’t happening when / if we get promoted,FACT

Regardless of the Ipswich game they’ll be plenty of points to be played for come the end of the season win lose or draw on Boxing Day .

Not many teams have played as high a line as plymouth did today - there was acres of space, and we attacked it relentlessly.

Wasteful today in the first half, with too many great opportunities going begging, making the wrong decisions again. Maresca has said the forwards have a license to play what they see, but there needs to be a coaching intervention sooner rather than later, knowing the right option to take at the right time.

  Three goals in the first 7 minutes of the second half have glossed over the performance, too much sloppy play letting them in and not having total control when 4 - 0 up.

Daka scoring was good to see, There was no Vardy, Nacho or Yunus on the bench, it will be interesting to see what we put out on Wednesday.

That second half was excellent. Fantastic.

 

On a side note, was anyone else listening to the Daka interview just a few moments ago. The bit where they went to the reporter to soon - who was Daka bad mouthing  ? “They thing they’re above everyone else. 
 

Daka played that position better than anyone today.

Extreme viewpoint.   Calling for a managerial intervention while celebrating a 4-0 and sitting top of the league.
