a tough one with Dennis now… because we didn’t sign sensi… can we afford to lose him? Do we have enough cover without him?

hopefully the answer is yes. :)

We should let Trabzonspor that there is this soon to be out of contract player, somewhat injury prone called Sensi that’s available to throw them off the Preat scent.

Unfortunately, players have to have been a free agent before the transfer window closing. So they had to have been released by COP 1st February 2024. Yes, I am very boring at parties.

This is indeed what I  would call “ being a boblet”

One of the best things about him going is that i don't have to hear people telling me we should give him another chance, because after all he is a 'belgian international'.

And he played that one good pass against Brentford.

why would we want to throw anyone off the Scent?

Amazed we were never able to sell him. Can't go on like this, spaffing big money and letting them go on a free.

I'm not. Praet was indicative of a phase the club went through of paying top wages to average players. That made them unshiftable.

He couldn't play 90 minutes (there was a stat flying around that he did it once in his entire time with us) and if he played 3 or 4 consecutive games he would invariably be injured.

Who is going to buy that?

You can’t play Injured mate 😂 one of those who will make a good pub quiz question on about ten years when everyone’s forgotten about him.

Sooner be a man light or promote an academy product than waste any more wages on this sick note mamby pamby part timer. A joy to see the back of him like it was his mate lazyboy Tielemans.

I can't get my head around the fact Praet has been here for 5 years

Wow, nor can I, what an absolute waste of space he's been. Another Rodgers triumph!

Staggering that he's been here for so long without any real impact.

Glad his wages are off the boards but frustrated that he's ran down a clearly way-too-lucrative contract. Money out the door.

I like how he's frustrated at the lack of football. Just not so frustrated that he'll compromise his income a bit. Italian clubs are hardly going to pay him peanuts. Which is it that's important, Dennis? Football or mega, mega bucks?

But think about it, at best he's going to have to take around £20,000 a week pay cut if not more. Spread that across a year, you are earning a million pound a week less than you was previously! I know If it was the difference of a million a year, I would stay put too. It's an extra £5m across the length of his contract. It's the club we should be pointing fingers at for offering such ridiculous contracts out.
