Collymore Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 The problem is we've put players on ridiculous contracts and no other team is stupid enough to buy them, even probably for reduced fees as they won't match the wages. We probably over spent on players in the summer because we thought we could at least shift one or two, we haven't forward planned for the eventuality of not selling them and that's how we find ourselves here tonight. Heads should roll. Complete and utter mess and there's no way we should be in this position. In hindsight I wish we never signed Coady. He was a fairly big transfer fee, he'll be on a decent wedge, he doesn't play and if we hadn't signed him we might have been able to get in one or two decent players now where we actually need them. 2

Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 I'm just finding this very very funny tbh. Some people still think we have sensible people running the football department.

alanf0x Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 Rudkins wifi popping in and out up in the sky on his way back from Thailand. Email won’t send
Stably Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 Does Sensi know about the complementary narrowboat ride with @Ric Flair? Might push this over the line. 1
Pliskin Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 How long has the window been open? And now we’re scrambling around again in the final hours. If this falls through, surely it’s finally time for some balls and call for Rudkin to be sacked. It’s becoming a joke. 1
DoveValleyFox Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 KPFC/LCFC policy: get everyone frantic over a mythical transfer, move more players out then sign no-one and release a statement that no signings will be made until yet more are shifted.
fazzyfox Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 If this was Barcelona he’d be on an artificially low wage but find a luxury sports car on his driveway, house paid for and luxury jewellery for him and his wife courtesy of the owners.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 (edited) If this doesn't happen now when the guy is here, this will be a far bigger cock up than Silva and FAX debacle, which takes some beating. Embarrassing. Edited 1 February 2024 by Cadno'r Cymoedd
lcfc_forever Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 (edited) This is the story that the Sky Sports story is based on: https://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/sensi-leicester-partenza-foto-video-calciomercato-news-1-febbraio-2024 Looks like as per earlier post the legal issue is the work permit. “The parties are now looking through lawyers to find the sting on the formula in order to be able to go to Leicester by getting the UK visa. There is time until midnight to complete the last bureaucratic steps.” Edited 1 February 2024 by lcfc_forever 3
