The Daka when he first came into the side under Enzo is what I want to see come back.

Laugh at me all you want @RedSoxUK

I believe in the Daka

He's terrible we all know this.

Jake Evans has had 30 seconds of game time and not touched the ball for us, yet I've still seen enough to say I'd rather give him game time than Daka.

He wasn't dropped, he went to AFCON.

But hes not good enough to lead the line for us next season.

Baring in mind the first consecutive 3 defeats were in feb and March and the last was in April he was dropped

Started 15 games in the championship scored in 5 matches. Will need to do better than that if he is given a chance.

That Leeds game killed him. Before that he lead the line ok. Scored a few tap ins, and was generally threatening. He had a goal wrongly disallowed against Leeds, then missed a sitter. After that he was rancid. Missed very good chances away at Plymouth and Millwall too, confidence disappeared and he becomes a circus footballer

For all of Patson’s faults I genuinely think it’s his mentality that lets him down the most. If he misses a chance he’s mentally gone, and then the clown shoes come out

Yeah couldn't agree more. You see glimpses of the talent like the hatrick in the europa but he's mentally absolutely gone.

Need to cut our losses and get rid.

Remember when Ronaldo left Real Madrid & Benzema stepped up to become the main man.  This could be the same with Daka.
🎉

Nice thought but he had seasons where he had scored 24 goals for Real prior to that. Out of 9 seasons in Real only 2 bad returns 5 and 11 goals.

Don't retire the number 9 but don't give it to anyone until they have properly proved themselves

I can't face this potentially happening next season

Wants out allegedly.

https://www.sportsboom.com/football/transfer-news-rumours/exclusive-patson-daka-for-the-chop-after-leicester-relegation/

Patson Daka is free to leave Leicester City this summer, SportsBoom sources understand.

Things have not worked for the Zambian striker since he moved to the Foxes for £23million from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021.

His woes at the Foxes continued as the club’s Premier League relegation was confirmed last weekend.

Daka, who missed a big portion of the season after being sidelined due to ankle surgery, scored just one goal in 22 appearances as Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side made an immediate return back to the Championship.

Everton were previously interested in signing the striker, who understandably wants a fresh start after a torrid time at Leicester.

His contract expires next summer, and chiefs at the club want to cash in ahead of their rebuild to try and regain their top-flight status at the first attempt.

A striker is their top priority after the news that club legend Jamie Vardy will end his storied 13-year stay with the Foxes at the end of the season.

His career in England is now at a crossroads, although at 26 he still has age on his side.

It is understood Daka is eager to stay in England and feels he has a point to prove after his career has gone downhill.
