I think it’s more we don’t want him as opposed to can’t afford it.

Or we just think that preat/ McAteer were better options for those games and it has absolutely nothing to do with this clause and money

It's not the money for winning the championship that helps its the increased TV money and sponsorships FYI

Of course, but it's money that will hit 23/24 accounts. Promotions riches will benefit us in 24/25.

Can see Vardy being rested for this, wonder when N'Didi will be back?

Wilf is out for at least another month i think? imagine the target for him would be the Southampton game.

What’s the argument that James Mcateer is a better investment  than Akgun..??
plus the fans will be crying out to somehow by hook or by crook,we should be

holding onto Fatawu..

It is prepping for a prem level squad. Yunus is a good player but it’s very difficult to see him being a consistent tier one performer which is what we need.

The big problem with Yunus from a Mangers point of view is you don't know what you get until the day he plays.

And Mangers don't really like that unless they're Wingers.

Praet on the other hand is more predictable in his play and so offers more certainty for the Manager.

He's played well the last couple of games but got tired last night and got a little sloppy as he hasn't played that many games.

Enzo was rght to Sub him when he did.

It all changes in the summer assuming we go up.

Ric knows that.

He was just saying the fee for Yunus is peanuts and using the prize money to make a point. As in "we get five mil just for winning the league."

Its having him on the books for the duration of his contract that's the problem. We need to stop being rash and impulsive in the transfer market as we have been a lot in the post title winning era.

In still annoyed they beat us at their place. We had 4 or 5 sitters (although they had some great chances too). Either way, like vs Sheffield Wednesday it's pay back.

3-1 Leicester

For the love of god can people stop mentioning Yunus?

It couldn’t be clearer that we literally can’t afford to let him kick a ball again, unless some magic money appears.  He isn’t playing because Enzo prefers Praet, and he isn’t as good as Fatawu.

If there is an element of appearance’s then it’s probably more to do with the fact we don’t really want him all that much, there’s better out there than him, he hasn’t set the world alight.

81 points would be huge considering some teams have got promoted in the 80s in previous seasons. Obviously it won't be enough this year but to hit it in mid Feb would be a big physiological milestone.

Mcatee is younger than Akgun and has already shown he can play in the PL, scoring and assisting in a poor Sheff U side.

Also on the back of a good season in the Championship.

I think Enzo would pick him over Akgun in a flash

Considering he had a tour around the training ground this summer.
