We can score, I've seen enough inventiveness and chances to believe that.

Matt Elliott made a good point - we've been carved open many times this season to be saved by Hermansen or poor finishing.

Lovely seeing Wout and Vesty skin 3 players and charge into their box but it's risky and dare I say complacent because they can't get back.

At least we get to find out if Maresca is capable of a plan B today. 🤷‍♂️

Could get hilarious if we're still passing back to Hermansen at 2-0 down on 70+ minutes.

KDH and Justin have been guff. We need better options off the bench next year for both of them if they honk up the game like today

Absolutely stunk of complacency from the get go, scene was set within the first couple of minutes - came out like it was dick around down the park. Somehow managed to create a couple of big chances but took us 40 minutes to play with any intensity.

2nd half to go. I have faith Enzo will get this lot sorted out. They've made it hard work for themselves but they hav to believe in themselves and their quality. No more half assed effort out there please. Not blaming the home crowd either they are being patient but the players have been pants. If the team steps it up our home fans will reciprocate.

There absolutely no chance we get back Into this game. Boro will likely get more. A horrible day considering we’ve got Leeds away next weekend, we had to win this game, two defeats in a row, with one to Leeds could be a genuine difference maker.

We've been absolutely doggo, but if they can get 2 in 45 minutes, we definitely can. I do feel we need to try and force mistakes by being aggressive this half, rather than waiting for Boro errors.

We only need 4 wins to get to 90 points. Obviously we don’t want to lose any game. But nothing hinges on today

No but with Leeds and Southampton both winning it adds pressure, especially when our next game is Leeds away. Keep hearing people say "we can't win every game" etc and I agree, but it's the disgusting performance that is most concerning. We can afford to lose the odd game. We can't afford to play anywhere near that first half level again or we will struggle against literally every team we play for the remainder of the season. I dread playing leeds if we turn up anything like this today.

everyone has bad games, you don’t solely judge on that. But he’s having a horrid day at the office

But how many sides have attacked us and not picked something up?

The lack of actual defending that he’s done to suggest he wouldn’t be roasted week in/week out in the PL is a very alarming thing for me personally mate.

Problem is we were all happy with the lineup, can't fault his team selection. The players just aren't up for it today and Middlesbrough want it more. Struggling to see how the bench can even turn this one around. Middlesbrough will be parking their 56 seater right in front of goal second half.

I'm at the game.

We were on top and missed a couple of very good chances (Vestegard, Daka).

Sucker punched for the goal. Looked miles offside in real time. Sucker punched again for 0-2.

Middlesbrough defending well and were clinical with the goals, this would be one hell of a smash and grab.

He was onside. Agree though, we were well on top and Daka had to score the header.

I fear that this game is beyond us. Boro have us sussed completely and utterly. With Leeds next Friday this is a very bad day! Boro are so comfortable. Not our day today.

O’ ye of little faith…lol

Rotherham was up 2-0 against Southampton at Saint Mary’s last weekend, and ended up losing 5-3. Still a long way to go.
