Why does mavididi keep getting hooked?

Great outlet, great defensive work in winning ball back.  But gets hooked, and we usually concede not long after, but Enzo keeps doing it again and again, whats the thought process?

You dont hook a player for missing a chance, that becomes an emotional sub.

Ridiculous decision to hook him. Miles better than Fattawu who stunk the place out again on the right. Yes Stephy missed a sitter but looked a threat and they were always nervous of him.

If we had a decent sub to come on and replace him I perhaps wouldnt be so bothered, but we always regress when he comes off so the subs arent working.

Thought the tiring midfield needed strengthening if Subs were really needed, possibly even a system change rather than keep things as they were. Sounds harsh but the replacements for Daka and Mavadidi put the final nails in our coffin.. Squad depth nowhere near as strong as we think. Was a ludicrous defeat.

Exactly. It's not his confidence so much it just seems that he can't forget about it and move on

People say he missed that chance, the keeper almost got his fingertips on it, so if he'd placed it inside the post it would've been saved.
