another really good game from him last night, with luck someone may come in for him next month, with 18 months left on his deal it wouldn't take much to get a PSR profit on a sale

I’m so confused with this guy - maybe all he has ever needed is a run of games although I doubt it massively - last night he looked like an absolute monster of a player - was all over the place - handled the ball superbly and ran his socks off - bizarre he looks the real deal all of a sudden - iv slaughtered him for years and rightly so but credit where it is due - he was mustard last night

Spent years hoping both him and Daka can get a big offer in so we can recoup what we paid for them. Now going to spend the next year hoping they sign new deals as they have a monster come back

Some players just need simple instructions to excel, maybe Ruud did that.

 

Not saying he's a world beater, but there's a better player in there than we have seen

I wasn’t convinced when we signed him, I couldn’t see what he would bring. His performances doubled down my thoughts and i thought we’d perhaps got it wrong. He continued to be poor and languid and everyone was in agreement he didn’t fit us. 

 

But, I have to admit…. he’s won me over and I genuinely really rate him. I think ruud needs to build around him, we play how he needs to play. The guy has something majestic about him and the more he’s on the pitch the better he gets. He looked like prime pogba at times today. I think he’s going to fully turn his career around here with ruuds guidance

Looks way better (though still not at the level of some of his early performances). If he can find a bit of discipline in his game, he can be the player we hoped for. Skipp playing alongside made a huge difference.

There's no doubt He has all the Tools necessary to be a really top Player. I agree if Ruud can convince him to get on the Ball and play he'll quickly become a top top player.

Definitely looked better with Skipp next to him. Think he's a big confidence player, and as he gets more confident every game, his performances improve.

what’s most surprising to me is how fit he is. Sprinting around everywhere today and at the end of the game he looked like he was in his first 10 mins not the last moments.

Really seeing the best of him at the moment. The last two games it been noticeable the effort he has put in running back tackling and trying to influence the game. Plus points for RVN for playing him in his natural position. That drive second half was great.
