So pretty much the same as what will probably happen even if there turns out to be no financial penalty or points deduction!

And what Leicester have traditionally been doing for decades prior to the last 10 years!

It’s key to point out we’re not alone…..

There’s suggestions that 12 teams have all breached…… everyone is in the same boat. No one is spending any money at all, so we’re not going to be the only ones to be punished.

Absolutely. So many involved in this and the PL will have to stick to the hardline stance.

I wonder if Enzo was assured this wouldn’t happen. You wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to move on in the summer.

He'll have no idea whats happening. Look at what happened in Jan.

Really good point.

They can't be lenient to any single team without facing 10/11 sets of lawyers

I seem to remember him saying for ages that we had to sell before we could buy, so can you expand on what happened in January that you know but the rest of us (including the manager) are clearly in the dark about.

On the bright side, what a great incentive it is for players we have now to know they'll be playing every week in the Premier League if we go up. Better than knowing they'll have half a new team coming in.

I'm looking for positives.

So just seen Dorsett say, the Premier League could deduct us points off this season for breaching 22/23, if the EFL agree, and we've just made tge EFL quite angry.

Doesnt seem very fair does it?

No way they can do that. Totally illegal process if they do I’m sure of it .

I mean epl should only be able to deduct points from us if its an epl crime?

We will lose points long before man city and their 80000 crimes. It's  a joke how swift they can move for us and other non big clubs.

That’s not possible.

well the club must feel pretty stupid right now giving Rodgers more power in regards transfers etc, cos we was fine until we changed the model of our transfer business

Rob Dorsett talking total bollocks.

You can't make rules up on the fly.

It's would have to be documented in the PL and EFL rules.

It's common knowledge he was all setup for signings in December and then all of sudden it changed. It was in his press conferences.

Taking his exciting style of football with him?

Our loss and another clubs gain!

How do you know?

Because we have a track record of keeping our managers in the dark about finances. Look at Rodgers in the summer we sold Fofana, look at Enzo this January. The board clearly don't want to keep the manager clued up on it.

That was covid that forced the changed in my opinion, because the “one big sale a season” approach became broken due to global financial meltdown. Us not reverting back to it is an issue though, I will agree.

Think that’s a loose excuse.

Chilwell went for £50m in the summer between the covid seasons. Alongside a whole multitude of players for £50m plus.

Summer after Ben White went to Arsenal for £40m plus.
