That's clear in the fact that everyone's being hit with reports that "points deductions are looming" so something's gone drastically wrong, no? You know its bad when the Forest lot have been white knighting our plight. It's a system suited to strengthen the Big 6 and force us to sell to them for cut prices. Farcical! We might hate each others’ guts but we’re in the same boat here. Medium sized clubs with the potential to have a few good years every so often. why TF shouldn’t investors be allowed to come in and help us have a go? we can’t be far away from a club suing in a Bosman-type case, claiming restraint of trade 8

No one is spending any money at all, so we’re not going to be the only ones to be punished. Absolutely. So many involved in this and the PL will have to stick to the hardline stance.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 I wonder if Enzo was assured this wouldn’t happen. You wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to move on in the summer.
Popular Post Bryn Posted 7 March 2024 Popular Post Posted 7 March 2024 FFP is bullshit designed to stop the six financially largest clubs being challenged. 8
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 Also as well, it was widely reported only a few weeks ago how we’re committing to sign Fatawu. I wonder how that’s going…

Royston. Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 give us 10 points now and deduct 10 points next season

Gamble92 Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 On the bright side, what a great incentive it is for players we have now to know they'll be playing every week in the Premier League if we go up. Better than knowing they'll have half a new team coming in. I'm looking for positives.
splinterdream Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 So just seen Dorsett say, the Premier League could deduct us points off this season for breaching 22/23, if the EFL agree, and we've just made tge EFL quite angry. Doesnt seem very fair does it?

Doesnt seem very fair does it? I mean epl should only be able to deduct points from us if its an epl crime? We will lose points long before man city and their 80000 crimes. It's a joke how swift they can move for us and other non big clubs. Edited 7 March 2024 by Jattdogg 2

FrankieADZ Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 well the club must feel pretty stupid right now giving Rodgers more power in regards transfers etc, cos we was fine until we changed the model of our transfer business
coolhandfox Posted 7 March 2024 Posted 7 March 2024 (edited) Rob Dorsett talking total bollocks. You can't make rules up on the fly. It's would have to be documented in the PL and EFL rules. Edited 7 March 2024 by coolhandfox 2

It's common knowledge he was all setup for signings in December and then all of sudden it changed. It was in his press conferences.

Look at Rodgers in the summer we sold Fofana, look at Enzo this January. The board clearly don't want to keep the manager clued up on it.

Alongside a whole multitude of players for £50m plus. Summer after Ben White went to Arsenal for £40m plus. 2
