Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Think that’s a loose excuse.

Chilwell went for £50m in the summer between the covid seasons. Alongside a whole multitude of players for £50m plus.

Summer after Ben White went to Arsenal for £40m plus.

Maybe, always felt like a possible cause too me, but it’s quite possible it’s just an imagined perception.

Video of Dorsett explaining that we could be charged as early as next week by PL, and they do have the power to deduct us points in tge championship with EFL approval, whether that'd be this season or next is unclear.

Have they even deducted points from guilty Nottingham Forest and Everton (2nd time) yet? Guess they have been too busy expediting our punishment.

“Hey Premier League!”

”Remember 2015/16?”

”We always will, you bunch of shysters”

So let me get this straight.

If we go up, we'll be deducted points at the start of next season in the EPL.

If we don't go up, the EFL will deduct points off us in the Championship next season and we'll be more likely to incur further punishments because our financial ceiling will come down.

It's also possible that a promotion might be snatched off us by a never before seen tag team deduction between the EPL and the EFL.

WTF?

Did someone assassinate the monks?

I think the latter is a stretch by Dorsett as the rules don’t have anything in it about that circumstance.

Either way, enter the SPL for your good self Vac and challenge those uglies

My favourite part is definitely when we decided we had to risk it and not spend any money in summer 2022, then realised in January we needed to spend money if we wanted to avoid going down, then went down anyway

It's absolutely nuts, and maddison with his 'everything will be fine'.

Just listened to when you're smiling podcast and Jordan from BSLB made a good point, the EFL making this announcemount has in effect, devalued our players, if we wanted to sell a player before June, we're now more of a disadvantage due to this public row, clubs are more likely to low ball us, this is causing more issues for clubs rather than saving them

The club took that risk when it spunked all the money in the summer. The leagues perogative is people abiding by the laws. They should have been aware of this then.

The accounting period ending in June is ridiculous. Bang in the middle of the transfer window, clubs will know if a club has to sell and will just wait unless there is a serious bidding war or the manager wants them in early.

How can the accounting periods not be adjusted to cover both transfer windows in full? Just think it will become a panic sell for many clubs, often with academy players for maximum profit which will demoralise fanbases.

Oh god this place is actually worse than the forest forum when I was pissing myself when they broke the rules. Deluded.

The club knew the rules. Blame them.

Our maybe just wait until we have broken the rules and be charged.

At the moment all you have is speculation.

Forest have been charged, at this moment in time we have not.

Let's face it football is dead or dieing all clubs are finished, ffpr doesn't work,  var doesn't work, anyone but the top 6 get what they want when they want. Honestly think they was better having the dumb league and the rest of boycotting them and start our own league

The industry knows what’s going on

that’s why Brighton low balled us for kdh in jan

the premier league aren’t going to hide any charges that reflect any breaking of psr last season and that will be within the next month.

Can’t reply to Jordan’s point until we see if any other efl club is called out before the end of the season ….. if they aren’t charged until next season then we do have a complaint. (Although our financial stresses are not a secret)

It’s kinda karma that we was moaning at end of last season that Everton should have got there points deduction sooner and we wouldn’t have gone down. Talking bout suing Everton and now in the last 3 years we to have breached the  rules and could face a points deduction next year 😂 wtf Is our club upto
