izzymuzzet Posted 24 April 2024 Posted 24 April 2024 With the likely limited money we have to spend, we should be going for under-23s with potentially high resale value. Any over-25s should be free transfers only. I like Longstaff but in our current situation we need to avoid transfer fees on players in their mid and late 20s. 2
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 27 April 2024 Posted 27 April 2024 Match ratings of 2.90 on the BBC website even though Newcastle won 5-1 today đŸ˜‚ 1

JimJams Posted 11 May 2024 Posted 11 May 2024 Got himself a goal today. On that basis 100k a week seems fair. 1

Ricey Posted 12 May 2024 Posted 12 May 2024 Not the kind of market we need to be looking in as he won’t be value for money.
ARM1968 Posted 12 May 2024 Posted 12 May 2024 Get on FM24 and pick up some cheap wonder kids and sub 23 year olds. My son says it’s easy. Do t k ow what we’re fuching about at. đŸ¤£đŸ¤£đŸ¤£

Bluetintedspecs Posted 14 May 2024 Posted 14 May 2024 Agent led story to force Newcastles hand re new contract I'd guess!Â
moore_94 Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 Seems exactly like the stupid kind of thing we would do   2 3
Happy Fox Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 Seems a lot of money for Ndidi’s replacement cannot see it.

Collymore Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 I think to myself "this must be absolute bullsh*it" because it defies all logic. Then I remember despite being in financial turmoil and knowing we were £300m in debt in all sorts of bother - we were lining up Harrison In a £30m 100k a week deadline day which went as far as the medical!  Nothing and I mean nothing would suprise me with this club. Both extreme good, extreme bad or absolute bat sh*t crazy are all possible. 3
nick6666 Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 The sort of player you would take on a loan with option to buy , a full blown 15,mil is retardedÂ
RobHawk Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 Absolute bollocks!  We won't be preparing bids on players for 15m without a manager in place.  A young rough diamond for a few million highlighted by the recruitment team? Maybe but no chance we are looking at spending anything until we have a manager in place.
sdb Posted 9 June 2024 Posted 9 June 2024 Dear God. I saw the name and reluctantly accepted that this is the kind of bargain bin deal we'll have to settle for. Then I saw the money. And you just know it could happen.
