I would be a lot more confident playing Potter, Enzo style than the gungho, headless chicken approach from Cooper.

But hey ho, we all have different opinions.

Fair enough and like I said initially we are finishing bottom 5 no matter who we have In charge. And if we're gonna get beat regularly id rather it happen playing something other than the joyless possesion football of the last 3 years.

I have not said anything because I don’t want to ridiculed but since Maresca left and looking at our situation with the points deduction we need a firefighter this season to keep us up and my choice without a question would be big Sam give the whole season he would keep us up for sure with a whole season I just can’t believe know one has mentioned it Steve cooper for me not sure how they have come to a decision like that like someone else said good championship manager and he will definitely give everything but can’t get that appointment if he is appointed

If you watched Forest in the season they stayed up then you would not want a repeat of that believe me.

The was a statement from the club saying they would not let money get in the way of getting there man, so why are they going for the cheapest option available.

I would feel a lot more happier with Coberan, I just don't see how Cooper works, it will be a disaster.

This is essentially like saying we only won the title because everyone else was crap

Who cares, they stayed up, all that matters

That is not the, we had some of the best stats in the league that season we won it.

Forest had some of the worst stats in the league.
cooper is a major step back in my opinion

Everyone seems to forget what a basket case Forest were before Cooper. Remarkable he got them promoted and remarkable he kept them up. People point to the 100m spending but this was crazy sign 30 players spending that should have been a disaster which he somehow made work. He was also did well previous to Forest. I've been annoyed by this all day then I started thinking about Cooper and remembering lot's of more positive stuff about him. Would I prefer Potter, yes, but is Cooper a terrible manager, not at all.

What just about keeping them up? Like cooper at Forest.

Nah he played decent football for a start. They were great at our place when maddison played them a great through ball to their striker.

I mentioned last time he was odds on that it would be interesting to see who he wants to sign, as he's always signed the same players (took England youngsters to Swansea then took them to Forest)

Problem he has is pretty much every single one of his go-to's is unatainable.

This will be the first time he's had to sign anyone outside of his usual cohort. (It was very easy to tell which signings were his at Forest)

Can't help but think Potter watched the first England game and thought 'I can do a better job than this pillock'.

I reckon he's holding out for the top job in about 3 weeks time.

without them players they would have been bottom of the league, hardly a disaster.

If the decision is Cooper then I will back him but, I wonder if we have really cast our net wide enough or we are only looking at who is not in employment.

I wonder if the board are resigned to a massive penalty / points deduction/ relegation and are planning on who (worst case) they think can get us promoted quickly / won’t jump ship.

Meh.

Potter Enzo ball is not that different to bodgers ball that we played for two season with better players before relegation.

It worked for Enzo as we had such a strong squad in the championship. But our much weaker squad than we had last time in the prem will suffer badly.

I'd rather play our on the break little possession prem title game than Enzo Potter Bodgers ball.

Will he even get much say on signings? I'd imagine he'd say I need a player for this position and this position and then the recruitment team and Rudkin would do the rest.

I'm disappointed when things don't go my way. Is that not normal human behaviour?

We almost finished 4th twice playing bodgers ball, its only when he decided he wanted the sack it went tits up... again the board should have acted sooner.

We even got a European campaign from playing bodgers ball.

Coopers head less chicken approach will get us no where.
