Won an fa cup, played in Europe for us twice scored some of the best goals I've seen. Underneath the Gucci backpacks and Lamborghinis seems a decent kid who's living his dream. What are your thoughts on Brendan, or thoughts on those that hate him? Other than scoring the goals, he’s done all of the above and been a big part of the mess me are currently in.
VLC86 Posted 27 July 2024 Posted 27 July 2024 There is going to be some fan club clapping Madders when he scores and cups his ears in a few weeks
Popular Post ALC Fox Posted 27 July 2024 Popular Post Posted 27 July 2024 Maddison was excellent for us overall, I think. The relegation wasn't his doing. He did a lot and still got 3 of his 10 goals and 5 of his 9 assists after his injury at apparently the point when he 'downed tools'. Sometimes feel like people just didn't like the confident side of him and so fixate on the few bad performances when, actually, the entire club itself was rotten that season. 17 1

That’s 4 games he was injured for like I said he was great first half of the season and no so great after getting his call up and knew he was off so really wasn’t motivated second half of the season Edited 27 July 2024 by whoareyaaa 1

The uncomfortable thing is though it pretty much was Ward, even taking in to consideration any other area that underperformed alongside him. Iversen came in and we were still pretty crap but points per game total was enough over a season to keep us up. The only difference was bringing Iversen in and Rodgers going. It's harrowing just how crap we could have been and still stayed up and yet we were somehow worse and that's Brendan's fault unequivocally. 11

You could easily argue that Rodgers going was more impactful than Ward being dropped, but there is no denying Wards impactful ineptness though. 1

fox_favourite Posted 27 July 2024 Posted 27 July 2024 It's the former Leicester city boss grudge match. In the blue corner, we have a rat who said he would stay and in the green corner the man who just Bodged everything and got us relegated. 1

OadbyBlue Posted 27 July 2024 Posted 27 July 2024 He is such a no brainer as a KDH replacement, it’s surprising we haven’t really been linked with him yet. 3

Beechey Posted 27 July 2024 Posted 27 July 2024 Goal and assist so far against Chelsea. I will also say that Chelsea look dreadful.
