The thing is, we have the players to be just as much an attacking side as Spain are, but it’s like we are permanently on a leash..

I’d go as far as to suggest that England, tonight, so far have been shocking.

The final of a major tournament and Southgate sets us up yet again to ‘not lose’, rather than to win.

To get this back, it’ll take another piece of individual brilliance that comes out of the blue.

So disappointing so far, but I’m not surprised at how we’ve set up to play.

We've come up against a proper team and have been found wanting. Rinse and repeat 

 

Got a striker on with actual legs now so let's see if that helps
