Leicester City Men's Manager Steve Cooper and Women's Manager Amandine Miquel will give supporters a window into their football philosophies at a special Q&A evening on Thursday 8 August at King Power Stadium.

 

- Steve Cooper and Amandine Miquel are to host an in-person Q&A for Leicester City supporters on the evening of Thursday 8 August 
- Four hundred Foxes fans aged 18 and over will be selected via ballot to attend from a general sale allocation *
- Applicants must hold a 2024/25 Men's Season Ticket, 2024/25 Women's Season Ticket or 2024/25 Fox Membership (and be aged 18 or over) to qualify for entry  
- Applications via ballot on LCFC.com/tickets close at midday on Friday 2 August and those successful with be prompted to claim their ticket digitally

 

This is a unique chance for members of the Blue Army to interact directly with Steve and Amandine ahead of the Premier League and Barclays Women’s Super League seasons. Supporters will be invited to pre-submit their questions for consideration ahead of the event after notification of their success in the ballot. 
 

The event will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about each manager’s background in the game, their previous experiences and their approach to coaching and management ahead of a new chapter for both our Men’s and Women’s First Teams. The evening will get underway at 6:15pm (doors open at 6pm), with the Q&A session anticipated to proceed for approximately two hours. 

 

Supporters aged 18 or older who hold a 2024/25 Men's Season Ticket, 2024/25 Women's Season Ticket or 2024/25 Fox Membership will be eligible to apply, though attendance will be capped at 400. The ballot will be available to enter until midday on Friday 2 August. Successful applicants will be notified within 24 hours of the ballot closing.

 

Further event detail, including information on how successful applicants can submit their questions, will be shared after 5pm on Monday 5 August (once successful applicants have claimed their ticket).

Possibly because when you have the rare opportunity to have the mens team manager available to answer questions, you want to be able to ask him the most questions possible.

 

The vast majority of people, whilst wishing them well, have no interest in the ladies team and to them it's a waste of time. Separate events would enable both to answer the most questions from a more focused target audience.

Otherwise it'd just be Miquel sat there looking awkward while a whole load of fed up city fans somewhat unfairly take out their frustration on Cooper.

Fair point, but there will be people who want to see both.

 

Seems people want to focus on the negatives all the time.

Separately, I enjoyed it when Ian Stringer and some journalist not too long ago (Sharpe) were on here answering questions.

Totally agree.

I mean, I'm sure some people have an interest in the woman's team, but the vast majority don't.

There is very little overlap between those who attend men's games and those who attend women's games. Most fans attend one or the other. 

 

In the last event with Enzo and Kirk, they alternated asking each a question. So for a total of 1 of the 2 hours Enzo was sat there awkwardly while Kirk talked about the women's team. The combination felt forced. 

 

Would be a better use of everyone's time to have the men's section immediately followed by the women's, just like in the upcoming open training session, so anyone who wanted to stay/join for the women's bit could do so.
