Personally I’m fine with Man City winning everything if it winds up the rest of the corrupt 6.

Nothing like a corrupt organisation beating more corrupt people… what a league to be in.

It's strange that they've reached this agreement.

Surely, the PL rules can be enforced as interest free loans are open and can be monitored and regulated whereas inflated sponsorship agreements are deliberate, dishonest attempts to evade the rules.

the PL have issued statements that the tribunal found mainly for the PL and it was mainly these interest free loans which they had issues with.  I suppose that means APT is good to continue - just that the loans must be declared and interest paid (or they’re not allowed)

wonder if this will be backdated to 2021 where clubs will be required to take interest on the loans into account on their psr returns this season ?  That will be cheaper than having to pay compensation to Man City

This is being painted by the media and Man City like some sort of victory for Man City but in actuality, they lost all but two of their challenges against the PL's charges, including the one that insisted their rules for ATP was prejudice against Arab state owned clubs.

Liverpool?

Potentially.. think they’ve got Chelsea and Arsenal this month so those games will be interesting.

Wouldn't be hilarious would it. Manchester City would have no competition whatsoever, do that and hand them the trophy now.

umm… aren’t Liverpool top right now?

What's your view on your owner?

I genuinely think he's one of the best owners in the league. There's no doubt he does it all purely for the love of it instead of any hope of profit. Just in the last few weeks he stepped in and bought Viv Anderson's European Cup medal when he was going to auction it,  and then when a local club had their facilities vandalised he paid for the repairs.

The first few years were a bit rocky and from the outside it seemed like there was too much interference and very scatter-gun with managers and players but he sort of lucked out getting Cooper in. Since about halfway through our first season back up he's left it to those who know what they're doing though and things 'seem' a lot more stable.

There's no questioning his ambition, he wants us to be regularly top half of the Premier League at the least but whether that's realistic or not is a whole different matter.

They will probably appeal anything against them .

He's a ****ing literal crime lord not to mention match fixer. He's ****ing nuts.

I know you can't help who owns your club and it's not quite as ugly as, say, Newcastle but have some self awareness and shame.

Best league in the world we're told.

Most watched/televised league in the world.

Some of the best players in the world

Biggest money league in the world

I don't feel it produces the most entertaining football in the world though . Six very good teams & the rest of us there to make up the numbers. Maybe the Super League was the answer.

Is that right? I didn't think we took loans from King Power and that our loans were with that Aussie bank? All this goes over my head though, I don't have a clue.
