Only 1 team has had 40 points in GW20 and not finished in the top 4…….was that us?

Yeah in 19/20.

We had 42 points after 20 games.

Only took 20 points from the remaining 18 games.

Those saying Forest will "fall away" were all saying Ipswich would "fall away" last season. If you're there after 20 games you're most likely going to stay there.

lol

Only us.

There's fall away from your own shitness then there's two sides in Newcastle and Man City finding form again.

Yeah and on current form they'll replace Arsenal and Chelsea who are out of sorts. Forest have won 6 in a row FFS lol

Begrudgingly saying it but this is impressive from Forest. Let them have a Europa league campaign but keep them out the champions league please.

Let them have UECL and get beaten by an Azerbaijani WiFi password.

I’d rather CL or EL than the conference. They’ll win that and put another star above the shrub.

Oh aye, fair point.

Let them get bumped out and struggle with fixture congestion.

Just as long as they don't make UCL.

I never said Forest were shit or anything, so calm down. Just don't see them holding on to top 4

Realise this is going to go down like a lead balloon on here because ya know, football fans, but they've been every bit as Impressive as we were after 20 games when we won it. Think they have exactly the same amount of points as we had as well.

Major difference is I don't see them taking the points  against the likes of Chelsea Liverpool Man City and Spurs that we did  (I wont say Arsenal for obvious reasons) in the second half of the season, and even if they do 81 aint going to be troubling Liverpool this season.

You can only beat the league you're in, in our defence. They also spent 100m+ to make this squad. They're also not going to win the league short of a horrible disaster befalling both the Liverpool squad.

Don't think I've said anything to the contrary to that. Although the 100 Million is an odd comment that's hardly a huge, or even really significant amount of money for a team sitting 2nd/3rd. We are in a era where one player can cost that or the best part of it (and not a particularly good one at that COUGH HARRY MAGIURE)

I mean ours was about 50-60 million nearly 10 years ago now and that was considered pathetically small and was littered with free transfers youth team players and players we had no right to get for the price we did when you consider what they turned into.

That's forest safe then lol.

Painful, but credit where due, they are playing well above their level and making it count. Keep it up and it means one of the big clubs gets fuked from Europe.

We just need to win end of story. We don't,  it's down we go.

I'd keep away from Sky Sports News this morning, they're comparing 15/16 us with them this season.

Edit: Just in case anyone was curious, no, they didn't compare the squad value with theirs being 10x the size of ours. Funny that.

If I remember right, Newcastle were basically in the same position two seasons ago? Even closer to first?

Man City have just started their post Christmas run that they do, will probably win 12/13 in a row.

Chelsea have hit a buffer though.
