I've felt like the lad in The Emperor's New Clothes about Forest this season, but it's obvious to me that they've been in a false position for weeks.

tbh theyve been bailed out by Selz for the most part

Forest coming up against a side that have been better than them all season tbh and should probably be where the other team is in the league.

If they'd been better all season they'd be above them. Bournemouth lost to Steve Cooper's Leicester.

I really like Bournemouth, they're clearly class and I ****ing loathe Forest but the way more than a few people on here are in denial about the latter being anything approaching good is ****ing mind boggling.

@Bilo tries to will it into existence every week and they're still...doing well?

Guarantee the 'who would you get' merchants would have turned their nose up at Iraola when we were suffering with Rodgers.

wouldn't have made a difference, they've recruited extremely well, not just players either. we'd have given him BDR and Coady

Forest missing out on Europe might make it all worthwhile. Would shut the bellends up at work who have decided to like Football this season.

I’m not totally against that red card personally.

Technically, in line with the law of the game and the way they are being applied it’s probably not warranted.

HOWEVER, I absolutely hate seeing the blatant, “foul the guy so they can’t counter us” tactic that’s becoming more and more commonplace.

It’s one thing if you’re honestly challenging for the ball - it’s another if all you’re doing is flicking a leg because the guy and ball has already long gone.

They're doing well, but folk on here have been talking about them as if they're title challengers and world class. They're a midtable side with a top class defence. Unlock that defence, and they're miles off the sides around them.

You are entitled to want a rule change. You are entitled to not understand the rules, even. A premier league referee is not entitled to either of those things....

Might be correlation in their entertaining, exciting football, i'd like football again if we and most teams played that way.

But there lies the problem.

It is only a matter of time until a side with Ryan Yates in midfield stops winning every week to be fair.

Blasphemy!

They're the greatest side ever to play the game!

Notts Forest are doing a Leicester!

TBF weren't Bournemouth the only team to beat us other that Arsenal that year?

The only three we didn't beat were Bournemouth, Arsenal and Manchester United.

They meant 2021 leicester

Let's hope a heavy beating at Bournemouth has the same effect.

Score first against Forest and you have a much better chance as they have to actually open up a bit

That tracks.

It seems like when they lose, they lose heavily.
