Waiting for the player you want to sign to be all sorted before loaning out who you are replacing?

Surely you are supposed to send out your player, then cock up your deal coming in, and end up in a worse position?

Doesn't have to be announced immediately, plus there's still time. 

 

Deadline day goes down to the wire. Everyone's phones are on over drive..

In other news, just while we're waiting on this one, does anyone else feel like we're living in a football manager simulation with McTominay and Gilmour signing for Napoli, Sancho to Chelsea and Sterling to Arsenal?

Does seem that way.

 

Also feel like Contes been smoking something. Although I think mctominay will do well and gilmours good.

 

I can't imagine many other managers in the world having a meeting with their owner and saying 'What I really need to challenge again is the Scotland midfield' 😵‍💫

 

Then throw in binning off Osimhen for Lukaku
