Wasnt really given much game time but has a decent record through his career. More so, we need cover for Vards/Ayew and gives us another option in case of injuries

jayfox26 Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Ayew, Edouard. Bring back Schlupp as well. Damien Delaney? Replace Cooper with Hodgson? Who's the dof at Palace? Doesn't matter, well take him. 1
RowlattsFox Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Will we ever sign someone who can replace Vardy?
Pliskin Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Rudkin’s face when he ****s up another deadline day signing despite it being nailed on.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 (edited) He’s not a bad player, Palace were pony when he first came into their club and he’s been replaced by Mateta who is more in the style of striker that Glasner likes. If it’s a loan it’s not a terrible bit of business and he’s slightly different to what Vardy and Daka offer us. All that being said this is standard Rudkin to make out we have the chance of a player coming in last minute and then nothing is actually doing. Edited 30 August 2024 by GingerrrFox 2

Ric Flair Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 We've lost a mercurial and languid type striker in Iheanacho. Edouard is of that ilk. 2
splinterdream Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 its a gamble, a new club and fresh start and he might start scoring.
dooflip Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Was genuinely gutted when we chose to sign daka over him. He would have suited us much better, though he’s no world beater.
STUHILL Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 I am sure he has been our first choice all along and is definitely not no.76 on the list.
Jobyfox Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Most of the links I can find are with Ipswich at the moment. So us signing him is hardly …. …… Odsonne

Mickyblueeyes Posted 30 August 2024 Posted 30 August 2024 Oh man, if we got Zaha too we could've been the Spurs and Palace tribute act for a season. 1

We got Daka who came with even more hype and neither have hit double figures in the Prem for a season. I still think one or both can do and I'd be happy to take a risk on Edouard but with sl8ghtly lower expectations now 😂 I think we all have sightly lower expectations for everything these days 🙄
