May as well of kept Cannon. Not saying he would've lit up the world but can't have been any worse than this bloke. Plus he is actually our player too that we can develop to get some sort of fee in the future for.

Not worth reducing our assets value and hurting his career for those sporadic opportunities. 
 

He’s now actually gone up in value and hopefully further developed his game.

Nah a 21 year old needs to be playing regular football, he wouldn’t have got that season with us and it would have been a waste of time with how little we create. He’ll now have a year of playing week in week out and we’ll have a 15-20 goal champ striker ready to go next season

It was never an exciting signing. However, I think he’s done worse than even the most optimistic fan anticipated. He seems to have just disappeared in training which suggests he isn’t fit enough to be given a chance. Really disappointing.

A "anyone will do" panic and we've had far too many. Feels like we got to deadline day, looked at the squad and someone pointed out that if Vardy gets injured then we're ****ed so they've started ringing around Premier League clubs.

 

Went through the phone book to call Arsenal, Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton then Chelsea until Palace picked the phone up and said yep you can have Edouard.

 

Someone in the back of the room then says "He was decent for Celtic" and that was that.

Reckon he will stay unless we get a replacement in. So Ruud has to say he’s staying  in case we don’t get a replacement. If we do or need the squad place imagine that is when his loan is cancelled. Likely towards the end of the window.

Agree with the poster who says we need another player lined up before we cancel the loan. Not great for Edouard's motivation if we say we're getting rid no matter what.
