Obviously not the reason we lost tonight. 
 

But the dickhead just hates us doesn’t he. Let them get away with a lot. Every time we touched them it’s a foul. Can’t stand how arrogant he is.

genuinely ridiculous how often their left back was grabbing Fatawu first half. man should have been in the bath for about twenty minutes before this twat even gave the first foul

The inability to add the correct time genuinely had me thinking about whether I'll bother watching football anymore. I reckon the ball was in play 15-20 mins absolutely tops. Was 8 mins just from their goal, the 2 free kicks and their players being down for treatment. Not saying we need to add every second back on but after the ball being out of play for 10 seconds, the clock should stop. Even in stoppage time the ball probably wasn't in play for 5 mins of the 10 played.

 

Used to hate the idea of stopping the clock like Rugby and playing 60 mins but it would be so much better on days like today.

Yeah I was convinced play was being called back to give them a penalty - no idea how it wasn't given.

Nope, pretty sure these days they just flip a coin.

 

Stonewall penalty, would be fuming if I were Ipswich as that incident decided the game.

Wasnt a howler not to give it -

refs call. I’ve seen it twice on replay and thought it was/wasnt. No need for var to get involved

 

after oliver getting involved last week I reckon ‘the bar’ is on the roof of the stadiums this weekend

Not really I didn’t think it was a penalty, I was actually more confused at how many throw ins and corner decisions the officials got wrong today, every throw Johnson took for them was a foul throw

Read somewhere the powers that be including clubs don't want such a system for some reason.

 

Maybe think they don't want players being called in public or worried about the language.

 

Be some daft excuses. 

 

Ipswich fans don't seem to think they have got a decision all season and the world is against them.

 

Mind you so does everyone else!

Every single player in professional football commits a foul throw. Yet another stupid thing that gets overlooked.

Agree. We’ve had a lot worse this season. Ipswich fans up in arms about him. I thought he was doing a great job of slowing the game down for them last 15. 
 

The penalty I would say they’re unlucky with, but they can spin after they got away with that one On KDH last season. Phillips red is totally justified over two bookings, he could also have easily been given a red for his first yellow. 
 

All in all, he wasn’t great but we’ve had plenty worse this season.

That decision today was awful. If VAR doesn’t change the red card and give a penalty then it is truly pointless. In away before VAR when decisions were clearly wrong it was easier to justify as humans make mistakes. But now we see constant errors where being able to watch them back should fix them. 
 

I was convinced earlier this season there was a conspiracy against us but now after today and the Southampton game I’m convinced that either the officials are truly useless or there’s something more sinister going on. Decisions are always wrong and are influencing almost every game but completely randomly.

I’ve watched it back now. 
 

For me, Ipswich should have had a penalty. 
 

He’s wiped him out. You can’t be doing that. :blink:

Watched the penalty decision a few times and the only defence for Fatawu that I have is the Ipswich player jumps into him before the contact. VAR must have decided that it was the Ipswich player who initiated contact
