I think this was when Pearson went mental at their penalty.

Maybe I've got the wrong game actually. I thought it was when Whitbread conceded a penalty.

Wasn't that during the season where there were a tiny number of Championship games on the BBC?

That 4-3 made Sky think matches between Leicester and Wolves would always be goal fests. Pretty sure they put our games on whenever they came around and always made reference to that game.

We then later found out that the common denominator was in fact Diogo Jota more so than Wolves 💀

The sensible money would probably be on a 0-0, although I’ve got a horrible feeling of 1-0 to them with Wood as the goal scorer.

So now I’ve said that - It’ll be a goal fest

Cooper’s time at City will be defined by this game regardless of result.

It will be a rotten game. They’ve ended up assembling one of the strongest centre back pairings in the league. They are now so Nuno as well - Ward-Prowse is Neves and Wood is Jimenez. Some of our games against Nuno Wolves were up there with the worst for entertainment going

I will never understand how Nuno and Puel gave us a 4-3.

It dawned on me recently… when’s the last time we haven’t conceded at least 2 goals in a game at the City Ground?

In the league..... years ago.

Off the top of my head. I've been to at least 3 games that have gone 3-2 either way there. Also seen the 4-1 under Rodgers, 5-1 under Pearson. A couple of draws, usually 2-2.

They are usually entertaining games tbh. My first ever visit there was the 1-1 draw when Connolly scored in the last minute.

I think you maybe right. I was getting confused with the 0-2 and 2-2.

Yeah, 2014 Championship winning season, 2-2 at their place.

think it was also Riyads debut and he scored after a Kevin Phillips missed pen?

being at trent uni I got a ticket in the block next to away fans and got turfed in it shortly after riyad’s goal. Our end was phenomenal that night from view of home section

It was on Sky. It’s famously when Pearson went after Beagrie in the post match interview

https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2012/nov/10/leicester-city-nottingham-forest-championship

He told Sky TV: "It shouldn't be a penalty, I don't give a monkey's what your pundits say. He [Zak Whitbread] got the ball. The referee was in a good position. If the referee can't get that right or if your assistant hasn't got the guts to give it, it's about time these people became accountable. We've had this taken away from us by other people who can't do their jobs properly."

Outplayed them in that game and Forest manager O’Driscoll admitted as much

Craig Pawson to referee Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest
Ahead of Friday’s clash, the Premier League have now announced the match officials for every game this weekend.

For the meeting at the King Power, Craig Pawson will be the referee, Eddie Smart and Nick Greenhalgh will be his assistants, Darren Bond is the fourth official and Paul Tierney and Harry Lennard will be on VAR duty.

Sky eventually got rid of Beagrie. Always had the same prepared script. Always had us down as a set piece team eventhough we hadn't scored from one since the Brian Little days. Dope. Nigel was right.

I can't comment on Puel but Nuno's football has been suprisingly entertaining at Forest.

Well it depends. 60 minutes of it are an absolute snoozfest, a game is hardly ever not 0-0 at half time. But past the 60 minute mark the games almost always turn into pure entertainment which is definitely by design.

Just remembered I think it was the Cove home game around that time that was on BBC. I think we won 2-1, King scored.

It'll be a tough game...sure I want us to win....but f@#&£t are a bloody hard team to beat...and from what I've seen of them pretty decent in the air.

Fingers crossed we scrape a win...but for God sake mark chris wood.

I do think if you get the first goal on Friday then it'll be a struggle for us to get back into the game. You've conceded something like 5 or 6 goals all season so far, which is amazing considering you've played Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea and Fulham already.

It's been the complete opposite to last season, where we were on the wrong end of a 3-2 score in 7 games as well as there being a few 2-2s.

I can explain this difference using only two words, Nikola Milenkovic. The impact he has had has been absolutely incredible.
