Am I the only one who isn’t overreacting over this?

We’re (essentially) playing our second team, against a fully fit United team who are enjoying their new manager bounce.

Yes, our defence looks very shaky, but we’ve scored 2 goals and our £20m attacker is off the mark in England for the club.

Absolutely.

We knew this wouldn't be pretty, we know our extended squad is weak, so what do you expect?

There are lots of reasons to question Steve Cooper but this team selection isn't one of them in imo.  Its a nothing game, no pressure, just a fixture we need to fulfil so lets rest the first team.  I'm sure he would have been battered if he went full strength tonight.

First game I’ve attended all season, I’m stood watching a team that has absolutely no idea what they are doing, the most vocal Cooper has been was complaining about their 2nd goal.
As for Ward he undoes everything you’ve ever learned about goalkeeping.

On that 45 I don't blame him. I think for the team he's put out they've done well. 4-2 could easily have been 3-3wit the posts playing a part in that.

Managing is a lot more than putting the right names on a team sheet. It’s clear that Cooper has no idea how to defend and our current players are just as clueless under our current set up.

It’s time he actually starts managing these players and making them better than the sum of their parts.

I need soumare to stay on, I made a bit of a monster bet because I was annoyed at the team, and it needs soumare to be booked lol

I need Garnacho to somehow get booked to win a crazy outside bet.

Already got an 8/1 on over 2.5 goals Garnacho to score or assist and win a foul.

Well - there's goals - I'll give it that.  Take away a ridiculous deflection and an offside (?) goal and we'd be level. But then again, if my Aunty had bollocks.

She'd be playing instead of Justin...

Watching the goals was an element of good fortune on the free kick deflection, it didn't look like it was going on target and a possible offside for one of the other goals, so in parallel universe somewhere it's 2 2 half time and we are all saying what a great first half performance by the team 🤣 😂 🤣 🤣 🤣 😆 🤣

Blimey we're clearly not bothered about progressing in this competition. Playing our second team with an eye on the weekend. In a relegation scrap last thing we need is more games in another competition we aren't going to win.

The lad isn't a defender. He's like Chilwell. A guy that runs up and down without purpose and he might do some positive things offensively because the opposition FBs are the same crap.

Too true. Clear as day. Yet Cooper, his manager, appears to be oblivious to this. Odd.

Was pretty crap first couple of seasons. I vaguely remember him getting booed on once.

That's the most Robbie Savage thing I've ever heard
