Nobody questioning Mavadidi’s place? He’s been poor week in week out. All lollipops and no end product.

He's been poor the last three, up to that though I thought he'd done well. He's a very streaky player and whilst I'm not so sure we can carry him for long periods of mediocrity, he's underrated defensively so I don't think that's a major issue at the minute. It's more how we get that ruthlessness out of him again.

I think in this run of tough fixtures and the overall amount of chances we are gifting the opposition that going 3-4-2-1 is an option with Kristiansen at LWB and Fatawu RWB.

Or play Kristiansen as the attacking LB and El Khannouss tucked in at LW like Cooper set the team up with Justin sitting as a 3rd CB at the start of the season but Reid as the LW/10.

I agree, although he didn't do himself any favours against Ipswich where i thought he was poor (who wasn't though)...

I also thought he was poor vs Forest but that could be down to them having put two players on him. I think if teams will start seeing him as one our major threats and just double up on him thus rendering him pretty useless. Against Forest he was doing the same tricks, against the same two defenders, for pretty much the entirety of the game whilst getting nowhere - Just running into a brick wall each time.

Thought he was probably our best player. Constantly a threat. Davis couldn’t live with him by the end

You'd like to think a premier league manager would be able to take advantage of that...

Forest completely nullified him by doing it.

This is on the manager to solve, if Fats has a quick outlet every time he gets the ball but is always charged at by two players, then that would open up a lot of space.

Ah, I thought that was for me to solve. Thanks for clarifying, I can tick that off my To Do list.

Actually tinpot_fox misspoke. It is, in fact, for you to solve. Can you revert with your plan by tomorrow COB?

Late comeback gives us a jammy draw - Vardy / Ayew combo in the 96th minute …again

It’ll be another Blooper Masterclass huge defeat hoping this will be the final straw as Coopers reign ?

At Forest Cooper had a reputation among their fans for occasionally conjuring up surprise results in games against big clubs when they were expected to get thrashed. I've got a weird feeling he might just do the same for us on Sunday. Of course they'll expect to wipe the floor with as at home in RVN's last game before the glorious arrival of Amorim, especially having thrashed our reserves in the league cup last week, but I just get the sense it won't work out quite as they expect.

Lost 4-2 in the cup with our b team.

by some logic we should concede less and score more…

so 3-3 it will be

Ok, but it was 5-2, so does that fxxk us out of a draw with that logic?

Man Utd put 4+ past us (our B team btw) and the only other team to do that were Arsenal. Given we've played Spurs and Villa as well, who are both better teams than Man Utd, I don't think we've suffered enough huge defeats for this to be "another" one.

We created a load of chances in the cup game with our reserves against their first team, so I'd imagine we'll have no trouble creating chances/scoring again. Question is, can we score as many or more than them?

I would imagine we lose this 6-0 roughly

Is Danny Ward starting?

no then it would be 10-0

Here's an odd bit of optimism for you. Wonder if Man Utd playing Thursday is an advantage. Maybe slightly, a slither? No?

You would think so but then Forest played us on a Friday having also played on Monday that week and somehow looked about half as tired as we did
