Van nostrils just got a crash course on the premier league. First by shadowing 10haggis and I’m sure he learnt some

stuff and stuff he would never do seeing what happened to the boss. He probably gave his opinions and ideas and some were maybe taken in. He got to witness first hand the shit show behind the scenes. All the while building up a list of what he would say and do given the chance to manage. Once 10 haggis was out he went to work straight away and hey ho 2 great results on the bounce! I know I know it was the new manager bounce + playing our lot twice under cooper but still he could have cocked it up also. Just give the man a chance - he can’t do worse than POOPER sCOOPER.

It would only make sense if we completely changed our model and brought in a recruitment team like Brentford, Brighton etc.

But we wont be doing that as Rudders is king.

The thing is, Potter hasn’t had an instant impact anywhere from what I see. I just don’t see him keeping us up, his first two years at Brighton he massively benefitted from the solid defensive core Hughton brought to the club, our defence is probably the weakest area we have on the pitch.Moyes or someone of that ilk is the only one I can get behind to solidify the club again and lay decent foundations for what will be our future in the league

in football the golden rule of management is the ‘ABC’ rule.

Anyone But Cooper

The really left field one that I don’t think anyone has mentioned is maybe Bo Jimmy Thelin at Aberdeen.

He's done wonders with them and had a good record before he arrived in Scotland. Level with Celtic and nine points in front of Rangers after eleven games I think.

Nothing will happen unless we drop into the bottom 3 for a decent amount of time.....Cooper has been tasked with one job, currently he's on track to do it.

The only hope is that if Potter is interested now, the club have shown interest in him for years. Might act a little more swiftly to get him. Similar to how Puel was let go because we could get Brendan at that time

Probably. Sadly i don't have any faith in our board to make the necessary decisions 🤷🏿‍♂️

Surely the board are not blind to the situation. We are just 3 points above the relegation slots and if Cooper was going to be a success then we would not be where we are at this point in the season. Loose the next few matches and we could be in a desperate position.

Cooper isn't going nowhere til next season 😢

In that case he'll be absolutely at home as a lower mid-table Championship manager. Because that's where we'll be.

You said exactly how it is and what the problem is in the first sentence.

A similar pick but with more experience and in Europe would be Kjetil Knutsen.

I cannot for the life of me work out how Knutsen hasn't left Bodo/Glimt yet.

They're not having the best time of it this last month, not won in 4 games and dropped off top spot with only two games to play (they are playing the bottom 2 sides though lol)

Perhaps he might decide he needs a change at the end of the season.

Believe he is contracted until 2025. If he saw out this season (Europa included) he'd be there until the end of Jan.

*interesting to note actually Ric, the team who are top Brann, their manager won the second division with them and the Norweigian cup and now looks set to win the 1st! Not a bad first couple of years lol

One can only presume that Bodo pay him enough and he loves life, as most of us would, in Norway.

Linekers looking for a new job

He's always 100/1 for the manager job in my local bookies when it becomes available. Then again so is Engelbert Humperdinck.

Diego Martinez. Just took over at Las Palmas and won his first 4 out of 5 games.
He was keen on working in the premiership.

Our board weren’t pro active enough to get him.

He’d be silly to abandon Las Palmas at this point.
